Really sad to hear Noble Yeats succumbed to colic yesterday … he so deserved a long retirement … and as a Grand National winner have the opportunity to parade before the race … he wasn’t there last weekend. He was only 11.
April 17, 2026 at 20:32 #1764002Oh no, just watched a clip with him the other say. He was alongside Long Run and Oscar Time.
Rest in peace Noble Yeats
April 17, 2026 at 21:32 #1764008That was a really good clip!! A fairytale ending to that National – Sam’s last ever race and Noble Yeats gave him that fabulous win! So sad he’s gone … and to nasty awful colic …
April 17, 2026 at 21:46 #1764014Such a pity, especially as he was still so young.
Condolences to his connections.
April 17, 2026 at 22:26 #1764017That is very sad , some of those National winners live to a decent old age .
April 17, 2026 at 23:23 #1764049Oh how sad. RIP
April 17, 2026 at 23:58 #1764057So sorry to hear this..
I hate colic it has taken so many horses from the famous to much loved family pets far too young.RIP Noble Yeats 😪
Things turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...April 18, 2026 at 00:40 #1764059So sad. He should’ve had a long and happy retirement.
RIP Noble Yeats.
April 18, 2026 at 14:06 #1764125Sad that this grand campaigner didn’t get a long retirement. R.I.P.
Colic can be a horrible affliction for a horse. My brother David worked in stables when he was younger and more than once was called out late at night to walk a horse round the yard in the hope that it would work the colic out of the system.
April 18, 2026 at 19:34 #1764201Absolutely heartbreaking I know his owners will be so upset. After only showing him last living his best life retired, alongside his pals Long Run and Oscar Time.
