I personally like the look of L’Antartique at the odds, for the Ryanair.

Can still get 12/1 for the horse which is definately a good EW bet. Likes Cheltenham, runs well over 2 miles 5 and i think will be in the frame come the finish line.

IF 33/1 still available when NRNB kicks in AND no great rainfall in the meantime I’ll be investing some of my celestial gold on Ebaziyan in the CH.

    E/W of course.

If we are talking about a banker being a short priced runner who surely shouldnt get beaten, then it is still a little suprising to me that Inglis can just about be backed at odds against. I would definately have him at odds on

Master Minded could be the horse that we all look back at thinking "how on earth could he be 3/1?". and i mean that in the positive sense…

Banker of the meeting – that’s easy :D

FoF to come on the forum after each race and say, "Fank Fook I changed my mind at the off and backed him"

    Is that right Fist?

can anyone tell me what has happened to Nevada Royale after that terrible fall that he had; he was obviously ok afterwards if he has only just been withdrawn from the RSA..was so looking forward to seeing the horse this year.

Nevada Royale is fine but PN has ran out of time so he is going to miss the Sun Alliance and preserve his novice status for next season. He may have a run over hurdles in the meantime…

The money had really come for him recently as well so I was quite surprised at the news.

Not quite if I tried that with Denman I might get a little bit of stick don’t you think?

I am highly unlikely to have a bet on anything outside what I have backed AP one is already a non runner, waiting news on Ferdy Murphys Kalahari King and W Lineman.

My banker has always been Kauto Star and I got the biggest price he ever was 7/2. plus I have beacked him several times since…….he wins it will be my best ever season no matter what happens so BANKER BANKER for me.

Noland is my second hope as I backed a Nicky Henderson double and told my bookie to stick the lot on at 16/1 he just keeps getting shorter and shorter just wish he would run.

Sizing Europe I wish I had put more on but but having already bet Katchit EW I halved my nnormal bet lus split it gain as I bet them both EW.

Had a adft bet on at Turpin Green 66/1 and a crazier one on Afsoun at 25/1 who is now 33/1

I had perhaps more than I should have on Binocular but I thought 10/1 was a great price right after the race at Ascot…..Franchoek seems to be the one they think will win but time will tell.

Tidal Bay 12/1 ew I have also backed in case Noland doesn’t run.

Finally Sweet Kiln because I was told to back her months ago but she remains 7/2……don’t know much about here but if she wins I would be happy.

My bet on Katuto Star is completely covered as are all the others…….so if they all lose no harm done.

I want to keep it that way so I won’t be betting anything else so no fear of me aftertiming. EXCEPT

My plan is to now build a bank before Cheltenham that I can keep not build a bank to lose it all at the meeting………Denman and The Listner………Tazbar and Alebertas Run………plus a losing bet on Witchata Lineman has me well in front again so don’t expect me to be betting to much between now and then…………5 or 6 bets I get 4 winners I will be over the moon……Binocular 1/1 or better back him no matter what is in the race……If I am well in front of my target at by the time Cheltenham comes up I will put all the excess on Master Minded if Ruby rides him if not then I will back Twist Magic…………… so no after timing for me Mike crystal clear mate.

PS Would love to back John Quinns in the Arkle and A Run in the 3 mile novice but won’t…..books closed on all races for me except the QMCC as stated. Nothing will chance my mind.

Well you’ve done better than me Fist,

My three AP bets were Rathmore Castle (who now misses Cheltenham), Chief Dan George (who is looking very average now) and Katchit.

Katchit is still bang there with a chance, and in fact, if he wins I will have had a great Cheltenham – but that’s a big if.

Regarding Rathmore Castle, for anyone who is interested. I was so desperate to find out about this horse that I spent hours looking through the tinternet to find an email address to contact the stable. I didn’t find anything but found a phone number so plucked up the courage and rang the yard. I had a lovely chat with some bloke who told me that RC is going to Fairyhouse in March and then Punchestown in April. They think a lot of the horse and he will be going chasing next season.

He’s gone off to find out where Derren Brown lives and give him a right good kicking.

Thanks guys and I wasn’t going to have a bet this week  Would imagine they will both be long odds.

7/2 Noland now wonder what they will do if he trots up again?

I’ve been looking through the entries and Binocular is entered on Saturday at Kempton. Also entered is Serabad who ran behind Franchoek not given too hard a rce then won at the weekend. Hope he turns up could make for an interesting race.

    Fist,

You can actually get 11/8 about Kalahari King at Sedgefield on Betfair right now which seems very decent to me but you just worry about the weather cos it ain’t half cold up here tonight!
