Me too
January 29, 2010 at 23:34 #272819Win tomorrow and it would be the RSA for Seven is my Number surely?
January 31, 2010 at 17:04 #273277To be a King there are times when you have to stand up and be counted, you have to come out fighting when your back is against the wall and be prepared to fall by the sword,if the sword reflects the error in your ways!
Mikael d"Haguenet
was 32 on Betfair this morning for the RSA at Cheltenham,i have £200 worth of Ante-Post bets on this horse and have been backing him for 8 months, the best price i have got is 7/1,so if i am going to fall with this horse then i may aswell go out with a bang,so i have had a whole tenner on at 30 for the RSA and another fiver on at 40 for the Arkle,he is 150 for the Champion hurdle!!!! surely Not!
Another fiver on for the Arkle at 130, he is only entered for 2 races at the Festival!I would hate to lose to Grass because his trainer chooses the wrong one!I know the clock is ticking and next Saturdays Moriarty will be his last chance saloon but its like somebody dangling a 130 Carot Gold Crown in front of me!
February 1, 2010 at 13:53 #273424Henderson making some noises about the RSA being a tough ask for a 5yo, and that they are essentially on a scouting mission for Long Run in the Kingmaker. If he wins at Warwick, I reckon they will go the Arkle route.

£10w Pistolet Noir @ 25/1February 3, 2010 at 11:16 #273746Just had a sneaky £1e/w on Copper Bleu!
February 3, 2010 at 21:14 #273851For what race? I think Hobbs says he is Jewson bound and I think he could go well there. Need to see what weight he gets given though as his profile is progressive over fences.
February 3, 2010 at 21:29 #273854You boys have been looking back through the "Supreme" form again haven"t you? Copper bleu is 50/1 for the Arkle, but i would expect an entry for the Jewson, connections did run the top weight last year,in "Ring the boss",he got in off a mark of 147,i would expect a 143 for Copper Bleu,so he will be carrying around 11-6,he wont get in lightly!

£50 Win Menorah 11/1
Champion Chase
£50 Win Twist Magic 10/1
Champion Hurdle
£100 Win Go Native 6/1
February 4, 2010 at 11:50 #273896I have snaffled 5.3 on the machine for Celestial Halo to place in the Champion hurdle! I expected him to be that to win it by now!!
February 4, 2010 at 18:39 #273982Just finalised my second ante-post multiple bet:
10p win lucky 63 on:
Captain Cee Bee (alternative to Tataniano)
Planet Of Sound
Binocular (alternative to Go Native)
Quantitativeeasing
Mikael D’Haguenet (on the recommendation of my good friend TAPK
)
Royal MixI am increasingly keen on Royal Mix for the Triumph after looking at his Newbury win, good gutsy performance and can improve bundles from it.
Three of the six are JP McManus/McCoy and I think they’ll have a fantastic festival after a few lean (by their standards) years. I think Quantitativeeasing looks a very classy individual in the making with an electric turn of foot but also has decent stamina.
February 4, 2010 at 20:00 #274004Hope you don’t mind me joining in. I’ve just done my AP EW Lucky 15, the only combination bet of the year for me.

February 4, 2010 at 20:15 #274007Sam Thomas down to 4/1 2nd favourite to ride Denman. McCoy 4/7 favourite, Geraghty 9/2 and Walsh 10/1.
February 4, 2010 at 20:34 #274015Zark, which bookies offer who rides Denman? Betfair? Sam Thomas is excellent value, reckon McCoy will ride Calgary Bay perhaps…
February 4, 2010 at 21:23 #274027Calgary Bay’s a good shout, Albertas Run was the only one I could think of.
Paddy Power btw. Go to Horse Racing, Cheltenham Betting, Cheltenham Festival 2010 Specials.
February 5, 2010 at 08:43 #274071Mikael D’Haguenet (on the recommendation of my good friend TAPK
)I wonder if i"ll still be your good friend when he doesn"t turn up Rich?
February 5, 2010 at 08:46 #274073Rich,a quick calculation sees you have the possibility of about £10k running onto Mikael in your lucky 63!! No pressure!
