Ive had a good few top ups on ANDY DUFRESNE & ENVOI ALLEN double. Both supreme and ballymore & different way round!

I have FURY ROAD in the Albert Bartlett and CHAMPAGNE CLASSIC in the National Hunt.

Ill probably have DEFI DU SEUIL in the Ryanair. BATTLEOVERDOYEN in the RSA. CHACUN POR SOI in the Champion Chase. RESERVE TANK in the JLT. FAKIR DOUDAIRES in the Arkle. FLORESSA in the Mares Novice Hurdle. BUVA DAIR in the Champion Hurdle.

I haven’t begun looking at the Gold Cup yet i do like SANTINI i think he will stay for days, If i had to pick now it would be BRISTOL DE MAI on the strength of his run this year, If its a mud bath then ill be flying into NATIVE RIVER

Its months away and a lot can happen, but i have a very good EW multiple bet going. Just need them there on the day. The cashout has flown up, but gotta let it run. Its always the case that one or two wont get to the festival, but at this current time its the best Multiple Ante Post i have ever done.
    :bye:

I just had a £5 trixie on; CHAMPAGNE CLASSIC 10/1 (National hunt chase), FLORESSA 10/1 (Mares novice hurdle) & PAISLEY PARK 7/4 (Stayers hurdle)

Very happy with that. Probably my first normal bet for the festival, All the rest are silly little trebles a couple of quid here and there!

Completely different approach for me this year, and time will tell whether it’s a good idea or not.

Spent the last few days laying off/cashing out where I can on those on my earlier list, and thankfully profits big and small on them all, bar Dallas Des Pictons for RSA/JLT, who I had to take a small loss on. Knew that would be the case though, as although 365 have him same price as when I bet him, they’ve tightened way up, and wouldn’t give me full amount back. Can hardly blame them.

I’m stuck with Midnight Run and Dallas Des Pictons (Exchange bet) as I can’t get out of them.

Not too concerned though, and I’m happy, mid December, to be in front.

The big handicap hurdle at Leopardstown today needs several replays and I’d be surprised if the first six home didn’t produce a Dublin or Cheltenham festival winner between them.

Agree with that Mark, perfect race to dissect, and even beyond the first six, Plenty will be Festival bound.

Ilikedwayurthinking was a big eyecatcher, but no secrets really with him, as he’s been well touted already.

Yes, VTC. Also, Thatsy is a good horse, has form with Last Exhibition and is on a good mark for something like the Martin Pipe ( assuming the usual hike by the British handicapper)

I like Navan form for Cheltenham

I was hoping that the ante post landscape would be a little clearer after the big races over christmas

But with chacun, laurina, kemboy, presenting percy, samcro, fakir doudaries, lostintranslation and andy dusfresne all being beaten the opposite has happened

Have to say I’m glad most of my ante post bets have been free bets so far

Keep the faith with Lostintranslation for Gold Cup – not for the first time Tizzard has gone to the well too often/soon (that £1m bonus is becoming a poisoned chalice)

Can’t see why Defi Du Seuil hasn’t hardened to go clear fav for the Queen Mother Champion Chase
