I wont be bothering this week Darren, probably a couple at Punchestown. Hoping Dabyah runs well on Saturday though.

April 21, 2017 at 19:44 #1297679Held off backing Ar Mad to win the Celebration Chase just in case he got entered at Punchestown.
Altior at 4/7 Fav is a crazy short price considering his last run in the Arkle which seemed a bit lack lustre. Also the horses that finished behind him have not exactly boosted the form.
This course, with fences coming thick and fast might just take him out of his comfort zone and for sure they will go off far quicker than at Cheltenham.
Hopefully AR Mad can show what he is capable of if staying sound in this race
Ar Mad to win @ 7’s
N/R No surprise to see this horse go to another stable next year – 10
April 22, 2017 at 11:40 #1297813Really expecting a big performance from the Gosden Filly in the Fred Darling today.
Dabyah to win 1000 Guineas @ 14’s
Hopefully she has learnt to settle over the Winter as she was very keen in the Boussac last year, which i am hoping was the best Fillies Trial ran last year. The 4th in that race Senga looks to be a possible Classic horse as well as the two who finished in front of her.
I will be very dissapointed if she is not vying for favourite with the AOB horse tonight.

Added a £5 bet on Promise to be True on the Exchanges @ 70.00 N/R – £5
Laid off the Dabyah bet @ 10.5 for a free bet N/R
It sounds as if the French Guineas is on the agenda. I would have no hesitation in backing her for Newmarket if confirmed.
Better to play safe when you get the chance

2 x Non runners -5 from both bets
April 24, 2017 at 12:31 #1298105It’s been a long wait for me with this horse. One of the unluckiest losers of last year in the same race it runs in at Punchestown on tuesday.
Backed him E/W @ 40’s last year and got really well punted. Absolutely cruising when he fell with about 3 fences to run. No doubt he would of been placed at least. Hopefully they are out to make amends tomorrow.
Western boy £25 win @ 16’s 4.55 Punchestown PP
Been looking out for him all season but he has not ran yet, only possible doubt is he had a run last year before this race. Hopefully some money for him tonight or in the morning will give a guide to his chance.

Biggest win bet of the year goes in @ 16-1. Very much doubt i will have a £25 win bet on this thread until the end of the Summer.
+ £400
April 26, 2017 at 08:11 #1298331Small £5 bet on Sizing Granite @ 14’s to win 6.40 Punchestown
Going more by the form of connections than the horse itself here. These Tizzard horses can certainly come good at the big meetings.
Won +70
April 26, 2017 at 09:59 #1298337Nice one with Western Boy, it’s a great feeling to pounce on one you’ve been watching and waiting for, especially when you put a confident amount of cash on at a good price, well done!

Thanks Greenasgrass, i was really surprised to see his entry to be honest as i thought he may of died or something.Western Boy and Golden Chieftan really let me down for a couple of big wins last season so very pleasing to see him win at a good price.
I would hope that win sees this thread through till the end of the year now touch wood
April 26, 2017 at 19:17 #1298423Champions League Betting At 188Bet Handicap 2.05 Haydock on Saturday
You’re Fired to win @ 9’s £ 15 win
N/R – Stupid bet and wont be having any more short term AP bets in the future -15
April 26, 2017 at 21:10 #1298431That handicap looked a good race and Sizing Granite won it fair and square. Think Power be getting a nice Christmas card from the Potts’ this year.
April 26, 2017 at 22:24 #1298439This horse did me a great turn last year when he won after getting very well backed on the day.
Missed Cheltenham and had a warm up recently where he finished second.
Dont Touch It 4.15 Puchestown to win @ 5’s
won +£50
April 27, 2017 at 16:13 #1298516Oh well, 3rd time lucky hopefully for this next one.
Arbre De Vie 4.20 Friday Punchestown £20 to win @ 14’s
Form figures suggest a dodgy jumper but he is quite safe and reliable. Brought down on the flat at Cheltenham and also early on at Fairyhouse.
Both times he has been well backed and back in Novice company i think he has a great chance of winning this race.
2nd -£20. Close but no cigar, hit 1.7 in running
April 27, 2017 at 18:34 #1298538AP Bet on Alice Springs 14/1 E/W Queen Anne Stakes at Royal Ascot
Wrote this bet off as trainer stated she wont be out until the Autumn. Got matched @ 14.0 for the win part.
April 28, 2017 at 08:39 #12985876.05 Punchestown Death Duty to win @ 4/1
I will forgive him his Cheltenham run maybe this is his trip over hurdles.
Lost – 10
April 28, 2017 at 16:35 #1298667Landofhopeandglory 4.25 Punchestown on Saturday to win @ 6/1
Small field and going should suit. Missed Aintree for this
Swamp Fox 5.35 Punchestown on Saturday E/W 33/1 5 places
Last bet of the NH Hunt season on Ttebbob 5.00 Punchestown E/W @ 25’s 4 places
3 losers -£30
April 29, 2017 at 11:24 #1298830I cannot leave Arbre De Vie again on the last day of the season. I saw he 2 entries this week and thought this race was the one for him.
I was expecting the headgear on him yesterday which he wore for the first time in the Irish National when brought down early on.Strangely they are on today though.
Arbre De Vie to win 3.10 Punchestown @ 20.0

Non runner – I will catch him
