TAPK has met his match! This years Ayr Gold Cup has got 6 potential winners and i cant split them.Poets Place 10/1,on Soft ground would be a major player,Hawkeyethenoo at 12/1 has the profile of a typical Ayr gold Cup winner but both these horses are rated 96 and i reckon 97 will be the cut off this year so both could fail to get in. Johnny Mudball will defineately get in off 104 and at 12/1 would be a big player on good ground,Victoire de Lyphar at 14/1 and off a mark of 101 is the horse with more scope than anything and is another on my shortlist along with his stable companion Evens and Odds who off a mark of 104 and also 14/1 would be my place banker. The 6th horse on my shortlist is Genki at 16/1 who runs off 103 and again has the form in the book,to say there are 201 entries,it just shows how tightly framed this famous handicap is when the likes of Advanced, 40/1 a horse who has ran in the last 4 renewals wont get in off 95!

Faheys Gold Cup horse is
Knot in wood
and he is far better handicapped than yours Bucksy!
August 23, 2010 at 21:51 #314435he’s well past it mate
KK is primed for this, the run where he nearly beat Hawkeye should tell a form student like you all you need to know if he gets his favoured softer ground

All them throws at the dartbort TAPK and you’re still not even close to the winner, I’ll give you another 30 throws and I bet you’d still miss it

I am keeping my mouth closed on this horse but have got on at extraordinary odds.
August 24, 2010 at 11:56 #314485HAWKEYETHENOO doing handstands.
August 24, 2010 at 17:31 #314527Oh, and how can you claim to rule the kingdom when choosing 6 horses? Get a grip man!

Mr W how about a little wager on the race,i"ll have
Victoire de Lyphar
, whoever finishes ahead of the other wins! Non runner no bet! you keep your secret horse to yourself as it wont even get in the race you Muppet! £50 a fair wager or are you just all mouth?

I haven"t backed all six JJM,i am just putting forward my opinion of the likely winner and for others to put up theirs.Perhaps Ante-Post betting is too much of a mans game for you!

On the contrary! I do very well ante post, my lack of discipline lets me down however and I end up Backing donkeys in the 4.00 at Brighton!
August 26, 2010 at 19:30 #314753TAPK, has your idea of the cut off mark being 97 factored in different ground conditions? E.G if it came up really soft would your estimate mark be revised lower?
My cut off point is based on the quality of horse running in these handicaps Marble, there"s barely 14lbs difference from top weight to bottom weight these days, the days of
Petong
and
Ashley Rocket
winning with 7-12 have long gone.Obviously if we have forty days and nights of rain the race will cut up big time and your
Hogmaneigh
would defineately get in off 94,a very well handicapped horse now! 36 on the machine! You tempted?

Hogmaniegh would have a good chance if this was 2008, he’s such a hard horse to get right especially with all his foot trouble – at the moment if you put him in a mythical 0-90 off level weights against the likes of;
Cappercaille
Bertoliver
Strike Up The Band
Aye Aye Digby
Rasaman
The Nifty Fox
Cheveton
Everymanforhimself
Foxy Music
Oldjoesaid
Telelle
Mastership
Invincible Lad
Spanish Bounty
Ursula
Indian Trail
Seamus Shindig
Pusey Street Lady
Valery Borzov
Little GarconI still wouldn’t fancy his chances and would put him at 8/1 in that field let alone racing him against the likes of Harry Patch, Victoire De Lyphar, Poets Place, Genki, Hawkeyethenoo etc
I’d want at least 66/1 for Gold Cup and hope the front 10 in the market miss the break by 10 lengths each or get loose.
August 26, 2010 at 20:05 #314766Mr W your mythical 0-90 race wouldn"t allow
Hogmaneigh
to run seeing how he is rated 94 you dipstick!
Anyway give us a clue to your mythical winner that you have your massive mythical price on!
There"s always one on here that trys to get away with it and this time its you!

It’s mythical hence I dont see why you’re taking a factual rating into account, thought you was well educated TAPK spending your youth in the bookies you must have some nouse to show for it!
August 26, 2010 at 20:49 #314780Mr W,Being a realist who studys horseracing as a means to supplement my income and being someone who is very fortunate enough to have a hobby that actually doesn"t cost me money, unlike my Golf,i really dont see the purpose of Mythical races! You on the other hand being a bit of a dreamer has obviously snaffled all the prices about your mythical winner of this years Ayr Gold Cup!
I take it you dont fancy your chances in a head to head with me then?

Before this thread gets out of hand this will be my last post with you in here, regarding your offer; I’ve never seen you a serious punter since you apply your trade in the Ante Post market and wouldn’t want to lower my colours and be seen in a pittyful online comeptition with such a small uneducated dreamer as yourself.

Now jogg on and start reading the 2012 Derby entries and let us all now how you get on in finding us the winner, I am sure we’ll never be able to understand how you done it.

Thank **** for that!If only you meant it!
