Human???…. that’s a great song… good version by the Rag N Bone Man…. Sound of Silence by Disturbed is phenominal…. perhaps House of the Rising Sun by Five Finger Death Punch…. all better than the originals.
And the losers to which you refer…. we need them Blossom, it was becoming a complete farce, we need a lot more too, then we should regain some normality. I started recording these on the 23rd of January (13 days) and we’ve reached the dizzying heights of + 58pts….. can’t last, heartbreak around the next corner….

Ooohh!!!….that was rather courageous of you Matron, most of the guys in here are dead or asleep, if you play that with the volume up, they’ll all start sleep walking and bobbing their heads…. what a sight that’s gonna be, a hall full of zombies all shaking their heads to the mellow strains of Death Punch and poor old Cuddly in the lead accompanied by his boom box and headphones…. Thank goodness to wake up and find 3 winners this morning which has helped claw back some early month deficit.
Always a bad start to the month is hard but it sometimes gives a required kick up the backside and therefore has made me check to see if I am doing the right things which takes a bit longer but if 3 winners plus 2nd from 4 is an indication of what is to come, bring it on!

It was the one where I referred to your leading the zombies on a “rave”… flashing strobe lighting and you lot clogging along doing your slow walk to the refrain of “Number of the Beast” by Iron Maiden… your headphones on and the boombox on your shoulder (it looks really hip when you wear shades with the trilby). One step forward and one step back, really intent and head nodding, then there’s that clever move that you’ve perfected where you dance a little sidestep and disappear leaving Matron and Nathan leading the jet set that is TRF…. sad, not a pretty sight… I get the feeling that you set ’em up cabbage, Matron and Nathan look like real plonkers now….. hahaha… they’re trying to keep pace with “Run to the Hills”…. that’s never going to happen, Matron will keel over with a heart attack and Nathan will find it impossible to keep it up tonight because all those little blue pills have fallen out of his pocket and the rest of TRF are on the floor scrabbling after them….

You lose me sometimes MrE with these heavy metal references when you know full well I have never grown away Matt Monro, Frank & Dean plus my country side liking for the evergreen Willie Nelson etc.
I trusted an experiment today and found a shortie winner with LION TOWER at 5/4 and have run the same filters turning up UNION.15, 5.30 Newcastle (SP) and a close run second choice with CALIDUS MIRABILIS,14, (3/1)Took the price plus a boost and it WON at 5/4 1.40 Chelmsford and would appreciate your opinion. Both with high R&S overall scores. UNION picked via Timeform + ATR Verdict plus S/L Verdict. CALIDUS had 2 endorsements rather than 3 but I confess to being seduced by the trainer, young O’Brien.

Well, you take me by surprise my little Onion…. Heavy Metal… is that’s what it’s called???… I’m afraid that my daughter and grand daughter have brainwashed me into enjoying this crap and your promotion of Willie Nelson in the same breath leaves me gobsmacked. Where are the mentions of the true greats of country… Marty Robbins is my stand out favourite, but you just have to give a bit of praise to Billie Joe Spears, Tammy Wynette, Crystal Gayle… and the guys with the likes of Johnny Cash, Glenn Campbell, Charley Pride…. it’s an injustice to mention “country” without them, there just is NO “country” without them…
Horses???… I got well and truly stuffed today, but it was expected my old mate, we just knew that there had to be a “leveling” out, it was just too lopsided…. we just have to wait and see in what form the equaling out actually takes…
I’m hoping that it’s just a gradual erosion of profits rather than a full onslaught, I wouldn’t be filled with the greatest of confidence if we had 20 losers on the bounce, but if the losses are staggered, I think that we might be in with a shout… lets just see what prevails…. it’s as new to me as it is to you.

A very good evening to you my little pickled gherkin….. another 5 losers today leads me to think about closing the door on this idea. OK, I know that we are well in profit and I don’t mind the losses up to 25% of my bank (25pts)… but I bloody hate it when you get 12 losers on the bounce… not a single win to soften the blow. If there had just been one solitary win to show that we are on the right track, I would have continued, but as it is, 12 losers on the trot is too many and any confidence is now shot to pieces…. I now have no confidence whatsoever in this selection process….. so we are done, dead as a parrot, deceased….
