    An especially cruel blow after

    Empiracle

    ‘s setback :(

Hopefully we’ll see them both at Aintree.

Agreed Tommy but the Ante-Post Punter knows the pitfalls and yet we come back for more time and time again………..Its still worth it but you have to have Luck on your side.Thats why you celebrate hard the victories and dust yourself down when you have just been chinned!

    Melodic Rendezvous

supporters are on their knees as we speak and its a horrible feeling, worse when its the last minute.I’m still gutted about

    Darlan

    ! :(

    Attaglance

missing from ‘Oddschecker’ Centenary prices????

    Cantlow

misses the JLT and thats 2 races I’ve backed him in Ante-Post that he’s not running in!! you would have to say the Byrne is fav now but Hills 10/1 is not with the proviso of NRNB so I’ll wait!!

    I’m pleased to see

    Alfie Sherrin

misses his chance of a repeat performance too though as I’m all over him for the Kim Muir! You win some you lose some!

Hi all, sporadically popped back once again. Yes,

    Attaglance

missing from the Centenary is a big puzzle, TAPK – I was just about to back him this morning but the markets closed on me, so I got lucky there! Any explanation from the yard?

    Also Jefferson-related: I’m in the

    Cape Tribulation

fan club. Got him at 33’s right after his Jan win. He keeps stepping up his game, so I’m keeping the faith.

    Gevrey Chambertin

for Friday’s Conditionals race is my tip of the meeting. I think 5-1 is huge considering the way he waltzed home at Wincanton, Beautiful horse (I hope he runs).

Despite not having the greatest win % going into the festival,

    Kazlian

    and

    Edmund Kean

are evidence that the Pipe yard are in great shape. I’m tempted by

    Ballynagour

for the Byrne – Pipe says he’s going to be hard to beat – but 9/2 seems a tad short? Maybe he was flattered LTO.

    Thinking about

    Arthur’s Pass

for the Centenary now as a substitute for Atta. Unexposed, and a bit of an unknown quantity. Really good value at 14-1 considering his rate of progress thus far. Brennan prefers him over

    Forgotten Gold

, which has to be a +. (EDIT: Mounts have been revised. The opposite is now true – that’s enough to sway me against him!)

    On

    Nadiya de la Vega

for the JLT at 25-1 earlier today, prior to McCoy being confirmed, and I love the gutsy, courageous horse that is

    Fruity O’Rooney

, so I nabbed him at 10-1 too.

Happy with my nice prices on Loch Ba for the JLT and have had an EW at 40s on Summary Justice.

Like Fourjacks EW in the last but not happy with the ground for Carlito.

The Champion looks a very good affair and Zarkander and Ruby will both get me place money and possibly one could win :-)

Have taken the evens offered on Simonsig and also the £25 no lose bet with Laddies

Gary I have scraped the crumbs off your table but being a massive fan of the Green and Mauve stars myself I have followed you in on

    Loch Ba

.At 12/1 with 5 places I’d like to think this young progressive staying sort will give Dom and Mick Channon a winner.I need to recoup 2 losses on bloody ‘Cantlow’!!!

    Loch Ba

    £100 e/w 12/1 Bet 365 5 places ‘JLT’

Well Gord, tomorrow is the day. Its been an up and down ride the past few months and tomorrow the troops finally go into battle.

Have been looking through all bets placed since last March and I have to say at this point in time i’m really happy with how things sit. Generally i have some really good chances with a few really good prices. A few picked up from this top thread which i have no doubt will fly back into profit, hopefully by the end of this week. Anyway thanks for the input, fingers crossed we can get a few winners on the board!

Bog Warrior (20’s), MTOY’s (20’s), Rule The World (20’s), Bostens Angel (10’s), At Fishers Cross (6’s), Boston Bob (8’s), Cape Tribulation (33’s), Siren Dainey (50’s), Our Conor (4’s) and Dynaste (8’s) are just a few that i’ll be cheering home this week.

Quick word for Darlan – he’d be carrying those round that Champion tomorrow.

Anyway all the best mate – be lucky! 8)

I like Pete The Feat in the JLT, now. Every now and again, a relatively disappointing, top-class dam can throw up a good one, and Pete The Feat, for all his wins have been tuppeny-hapenny, could be one and with a racing weight.

In the last, Fourjacks is entered for a Grade 1, but on Mordin’s recommendation, so far, apart from Our Mick, I’m on Rajdhani Express. (I’m a Ginge doppleganger(!) born with ginger hair). He rated him highly, and young Waley-Cohen takes off 5, bringing his weight down to most of tothers.

If I’ve any money coming back by then, I might have small forecasts on them to come second to Our Mick; maybe tricasts, too.

Lovely portfolio of Ante-Post prices there OLAS,’MTOY’ has everything against him statistically today but that wont stop him!I am stubbornly refusing to bet anything against him for todays race even though there are dangers at good prices.I have done

    Un Atout

at 25/1 for next years Jewson and I’ve done a ‘Jezki’ double Supreme/2014 Champion hurdle at 40/1 but todays race is all about

    My tent or Yours

    .Please God let it begin!

The Tanks are rolling, the troops are marching and we’re off and running Cheltenhams on and apart from the weather which has been an absolute B*stard my Team are pretty much where I want them,we’ll see how the week goes but for all the hours of watching re-runs studying form and reading between the enemy lines,Lady Luck needs to be with us.The Champagnes on Ice,I’m ready for a glass now just to take the edge off but I’ll wait…………………………..The long wait!

Just some of them will do ‘tb’ but the ground will play its part and that wont be what we’re used too from Cheltenhams past.Good Luck!
