Though he was 2nd i thought Apache ran well today and should win a maiden next time out
Any thoughts on Masked Marvel yesterday i they saw that race as a prep for RP Trophy as Buick was not that hard on him
Any thoughts on French Navy from you guys
Why is Casamento going for RP trophy they have bad records in trying to win 2000 guineas the next year
Pathfork should stay in Ireland and not race at the Breeders cup.
What you guys think
October 10, 2010 at 21:02 #321758Why is Casamento going for RP trophy they have bad records in trying to win 2000 guineas the next year
Why not?
Stayed the mile very well in the Beresford and it might not be a particularly strong renewal of the RP with all the top 2yos seemingly set to run at Newmarket.
Pathfork should stay in Ireland and not race at the Breeders cup.
He’s owned by a few Yanks and they want to try him out on a dirt track with a view to the Kentucky Derby next year.
October 14, 2010 at 16:17 #322383Pathfork out of the BC Juvenile after suffering a minor setback.
October 16, 2010 at 17:55 #322812Frankel won well today only problem i got is it looks like he won’t go for derby where is my 33/1 ticket might as well tear it up now
Am sure he change his mind next year come on the prince get him in derby
Cape Dollar won today as well
October 18, 2010 at 12:00 #323083Ruling won nice yesterday he did
Racing post trophy this week looks a cracker as well.
What you guys think of Sea Moon was 2nd on debut but is as low as 20/1 for the derby
October 18, 2010 at 15:29 #323109Some top-class juveniles this year and Frankel will take some beating in the 2000 Guineas, but don`t forget the forgoten horse Pathfork, good value at 14/1 for the 2000,also i think helleborine on a sound surfaace may take the 1000 Guineas, she was cruising in the prix marcel boussac but couldn`t quicken on the soft ground.Misty for me the winner that day looks like the Oaks winner at this stage, and as for the Derby i like Picture Editor and Nathaniel available at 16/1 and 50/1.
October 18, 2010 at 22:58 #323187Picture Editor has been cut by most firms now he is 12/1 best price
Frankel has drifted with most firms but has been backed with Hills at 7/4 but 5/1 with Lads
October 18, 2010 at 23:10 #323189Frankel has drifted with most firms but has been backed with Hills at 7/4 but 5/1 with Lads
Frankel hasn’t been backed with Hills. He is offered at 7/4 With A Run.
October 18, 2010 at 23:19 #323190did not know that as was checking oddsmaker 4 prices
October 19, 2010 at 09:38 #323223got 16/1 picture editor last night at ladbrokes
October 21, 2010 at 17:41 #323733You have seriously consider Recital now for the Derby
This is perfect…..no more runs and just prep him for the Dante or even Derrinstown. This is the only horse i am lucking for the Derby at this present moment. Hopefully they will not even think about France.
Their is a few more Half A Million Quid Montjeu’s to come out yet
October 26, 2010 at 21:11 #324775Casamento won the Racing Post trophy but there were good performances by the 2nd,3rd and 4th
Carlton House romped home now as low as 16/1 to win derby
Sea Moon won today but was not impressive for the price he was today
Dubai Prince won easy as well and his 8/1 for derby
Any thoughts on these and other news on 2yo races
October 27, 2010 at 16:07 #324902I thought Sea Moon’s performance yesterday was very, very taking.
October 28, 2010 at 14:06 #325106Wallace-07 Recital or Exodus. I just cannot make up my mind. What do you think? Both won over a mile at Navan. Both by Montjeu.
July 29, 2011 at 09:00 #366324Goowood: Tanqueray Richmond Stakes (Group 2) (Colts & Geldings)
I could not believe the betting for
Harbour Watch
why is he 5/6 and the others 9/1?
He has won 2 races in slow times and I gave him ratings of31
and
66
some 19lbs behind
Bannock 85
and
Caspar Netscher 85
.
They say that Richard Hughes is very bullish about
Harbour Watch
chances and I hope he is right, but on the clock I cannot have him at 5/6 and he will have to improve 20lbs to win this race on my speed figures.
