April 3, 2023 at 20:43 #1642350Stop it, Moehat, you’re taking me down memory lane.
Someone will be mentioning Spanish Steps, The Pilgarlic and Eyecatcher next.
Quick Wave NR according to RP Big-Race Entries, VF.

April 3, 2023 at 21:51 #1642355Now you’re talking Ian, The Pilgarlic was the very first horse I backed in the National.
April 5, 2023 at 08:20 #1642440Charlie Huggins, Racing Post, has published a ‘trends’ GN article this morn (sorry, wont let me post a link) – anyways it comes out with
Corach Rambler to win.
A few other ‘pointers’ in there, to mull over.
April 5, 2023 at 10:31 #1642448Irish Times reporting Gaillard Du Mesnil going to Irish National.
April 6, 2023 at 12:12 #1642522The Tin Man has already mentioned Gabbys Cross as carrying bottom weight of 10st 2lbs.
I backed him at 100/1 (still plenty 66s). The only reason I backed him for this was he
was NRNB with Bet365. I didn’t mention him here as I was convinced he’d head for the
Irish version, I thought he’d struggle to get in anyway but quite a few have fallen
by the Wayside and he’s got in at 38.He was running well enough before making a pig’s ear of the 3rd last in the Thyestes and
Rachael Blackmore was easy on him after that. Last time out in the Leinster National he
travelled well, but lost ground when he “bunny hopped” the 2nd last. He doesn’t do anything
fast, but was 6th and a bit behind going over the last but finished stronger than anything
to finish 3rd. I think he’s a galloper who will get further than the 3m 1/2f.His misfortune in the last couple may be his saving grace here as his mark has stayed at
143 and gets him in proper at 10st 2lbs. If Henry De Bromhead has decided to skip the Irish
National, where he was about 20/1, to bring him over he must think he has some kind of shout.
It’s his first time at Aintree, which I quite like as some remember getting knackered there
last time. I’d love Rachael Blackmore to ride him, problem is Henry has a couple of last time
out winners down to run in Aint That A Shame and Envoi Allen, although that one is carrying
11st 8lbs.Rachael is 33 now and if she’s thinking about going out on a high then it will be interesting to
see who she sides with.April 6, 2023 at 12:20 #1642523“Irish Times reporting Gaillard Du Mesnil going to Irish National.”
Taken out of the Irish National.

April 6, 2023 at 22:12 #1642567Earlier I followed some of you here with Roi Mage. Now I’ve added Dunboyne. Gordon Elltion confirmed he will run here and at the moment it looks like we will get a bit of rain next week. If the ground comes up soft, he must be in with a chance. I think he is a real stayer and running with 10 stone can’t be a negative.
Roi Mage 50/1
Dunboyne 50/1April 9, 2023 at 10:17 #1642761The Big Breakaway played again , monster run in the Welsh and he’ll have no issues with the rain , he,’ll stay 5 miles and ticks the boxes of most stats
Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026
April 9, 2023 at 10:24 #1642762I wouldnt bank on loads of rain this week at Aintree.
Forecasts modifying all the time.
UK Meto says showers, but with sunny intervals. The Beeb, who use Meteogroup, says much the same but with poss light rain on Friday and Saturday.
No more bets from me, at this stage; i’ll wait until later in the week or even Saturday morningApril 9, 2023 at 22:23 #1642815Royal Pagaille runs in tomorrow’s Irish national

Royale Pagaille
Envoi Allen
The Shunter
Gin On Lime
Battleoverdoyen
Quick Wave
Captain KangarooWhich means Back on the Lash should be horse number 40. Apologise if mistaken doing this through my phone.
You've got to accentuate the positive.
Eliminate the negative.
Latch on to the affirmative.
Don't mess with mister in between.April 10, 2023 at 18:09 #1642880Defi Bleu, Gevrey, Punitive and Milan Native are all ruled out after running at Fairyhouse. Thus Born By The Sea is now number 40 with just 6 left behind him.
Born By The Sea running off 137 makes him the lowest rated runner in the Grand National since 2013. The bottom weight that day ran off 131.
April 10, 2023 at 20:49 #1642894Just added (to my earlier GN bets)
