Talk Of New York out on tuesday at HQ first time hood applied put in at 4/6 needs to be winning this against couple of high 90 rated oppo’s
April 13, 2026 at 20:54 #1763549Albert Einstein has been entered in the Greenham this weekend. It would be most unusual for Aidan to send one to the Guineas with two prep runs under its belt.
April 14, 2026 at 09:20 #1763571So we have the fastest horse ever trained by Aidan wanted quick going I’d presume at 7f and 40 minutes later a crowd seller that wants soft…

Gaelic Warrior Gold Cup Winner 2026
April 14, 2026 at 14:30 #1763591Although second in and step up to eight should suit not having that as a 2000 winning performance, but at present it does not look a great year, so not a player myself people may see things differently
April 14, 2026 at 15:00 #1763593I was reasonably impressed myself. They obviously wanted to settle him, which he did nicely, albeit in a hood. He cleared away when asked and, although the second wasn’t highly rated, he had been only beaten by the eventual Dewhurst winner by 3½ lengths on debut, while the rest seemed to more or less run up to their ratings. He also handled the dip nicely, another plus point.
April 14, 2026 at 15:12 #1763595If you are on at bigger prices good luck to you, I know it’s not a normal year at present but the 6s and lower is not for me,but as Oscar says he sees it differently
April 14, 2026 at 15:17 #1763596Being reasonably impressed and climbing in at at 6-1 aren’t necessarily the same thing, nw!
I’m actually more interested in seeing if the Gosdens are intending to aim Morris Dancer here – I haven’t heard anything about this promising colt for ages?April 14, 2026 at 15:20 #1763597Maybe I worded it wrong was not implying you are jumping in at 6s just that you were reasonably impressed when I was not
April 19, 2026 at 09:06 #1764268Dewhurst form working out come on Aiden Gstaad to the English 2000
April 24, 2026 at 13:04 #1764620Zavateri now out as well
April 24, 2026 at 14:09 #1764623A ‘minor setback’ that will mean he misses both the English and the Irish Guineas which is on the 23 May……surely that is not such a minor setback
April 26, 2026 at 06:35 #1764875Distant Storm 5-1 ew
April 26, 2026 at 18:29 #1764947While I think that the hard-as-nails Bow Echo is the one to beat, the horse that’s now catching my attention is Into The Sky…
A very impressive, wide-margin winner on his debut. Followed that up when scooting several lengths clear before getting mowed down late on by Words Of Truth after looking the winner. This defeat reminded me of when Coroebus lost the 2021 Royal Lodge in similar fashion.
I’m hopeful Into The Sky will stay the Rowley Mile. If he does and is ridden with more restraint, he might just steal a march on the field. The timing must be crucial though. He is currently 25/1
April 26, 2026 at 19:58 #1764955All of the last 10 winners were rated 109 or higher, had at least 3 previous runs, and had won at least twice.
So if those trends hold up again it’ll go to one of these still remaining…
Bow Echo
Distant Storm
Oxagon
Power Blue
Puerto Rico
Samangan
ThesecretadversaryApril 27, 2026 at 13:27 #1764998Can add Gstaad to that list.
