Nothing went right for TONY did really well to get as close as he did, missed break from wide draw pulled hard and was pushed wider off bend.

Buick decided to pull him back all the way to last, miles off the leaders. Was never going to win from there.

It is Aidan or the Lads? You know as in ‘is it Willie or JP?’

Good horse on early 2 y/o form
had a setback and Aidan’s flops of late in recent 2000 guineas is enough to put me off the 2000

Ruby the lads are trying to work out who was the quickest before Albert😀
Nathan form of his last race is working out well (Group 1 winner in there) and tbh he did show plenty to get out of trouble. But I am with you on can’t be onside with him at moment

    AI gets it wrong again.

Caravaggio was a top sprinter to be fair hammering blue point at ascot. Id say stravinsky or mozart were the two quickest. Both exceptional at york. I wonder why they are running him when they havent done this for years. Cant be as simple as seeing how he stays 7 furlongs.

Normally they go straight to the guineas but with more runs behind them as two year olds and in better races than Albert Einstein has run in. They were slow starters over the previous few years, almost all of them needed a run last year before winning. Maybe the wet weather again this year has set them back again..

The shape of this race strongly reminds me of my biggest ever winning punt, on Makfi in 2010.
The winner was a once raced French horse up against a cast of contenders without a great deal of convincing form. As usual there was an O’Brien hotpot (St Nicholas Abbey at evens!?!) plus many with decent but not overwhelming form and my boy had obviously been properly prepared for the race. Admittedly the 3rd Canford Cliffs eventually proved himself a star miler but I’m struggling to locate a potential superstar in this year’s lineup.
Hence I’m inclined to row in with Maddy Playle’s suggestion of Take Me On who is the winner of a mile race at Deauville last backend and is apparently an intended runner. The race description sounds impressive but i can’t locate a video to judge it. ATR reports video not available yet and i can’t find it on youtube… Any suggestions gratefully received!
