Can’t help to be impressed by a very professional performance by Love, settled perfectly early on (unlike Quadrilateral) and went all the way to the line suggesting that another 4F would be no issue.
Cloak of Spirits ran a blinder from the front but the warning signs for Quadrilateral were clearly there for me just watching her go to the start as you could tell she was going to be a right handful in the early stages of the race.
The fact that you needed to have a handy position from the start in most of the races toaday really didn’t help as she saw too much daylight and in light of that she did well to almost get 2nd – hopefully this is just freshness on her first run but if not Charlton will need to teach her rather quickly as she won’t stay 12F if she does that again.
Mark up Romsey who was one of the only ones to make up ground after being held up.
Cloak of Spirits changed legs loads of times so did well considering she might not have been quite happy.

Personally think she might’ve looked better than she was. Main contenders either didn’t stay or in Quad was too keen.
Still, she’s very talented and will probably improve even more stepping up in trip.
