Summer Romance strikes me as a very poor favourite (on the existing evidence) at 12/1. Very difficult to argue her form has more substance than Albigna. The 33s that you got Mike would strike me as the correct price.

    ALPINE STAR 33/1

Of course a chance can stay at home for irish version but this trainer has more fillies this year that won with so a chance could come over if read stable tours at start of season it was clear she felt this be her best 2yo filly only a maiden winner but a group 2 tonight and can win tonight before a tilt at Moyglare or fillies mile

    CLOAK OF SPIRITS 20/1

Only other filly to impress me so far is this one trained by Hannon way won her debut was impressive after bad start look like going to run at Newmarket other week but not turn up be intresting where she go next but for me could end of being best 2yo filly in England

Will be a bit of a guessing game in terms of fitness. Might be a case of best trainer rather than best horse for the first two classics this year?

I’ll be interested if Cloak of Spirits does get to run here. There is one bit of 33s about but the remaining books have shortened a lot. Her run behind Daahyeh gives her plenty of formlines and Hannon loves her. He’s an underestimated trainer of sorts, given his father. People crab him as he’s not banging out 2yo winners left, right + centre but he’s a different trainer.

don’t really play a lot ante-post so will wait till nearer the time. One who is probably more exposed than others but hopefully will run her race is Daahyeh who is still available at 20s with a couple of firms

Took 12s on Quadrilateral but actually not keen now and all over Love here, crazy 22/1 price , group one winner by AOB in a 1000 Guineas who would’ve run on ground not ideal LTO and still placed. Value of joy surely. What’s going on there? Whatever it is it’s worth the risk

    Love 22/1
    Quadrilateral took 12s last season

I’m not a Roger Charlton fan but I do like Quadrilateral aluthough no updates from RC and we are playing blind here with no Nell Gwyn to guide us.

Going by the Montrose Listed race that I saw at Newmarket run on the Rowley Mile in the most atrocious conditions I would flag up the chances of Born With Pride trained by William Haggas who sprang a big surprise in the race and Peaceful the AOB filly who flew down the middle of the course at the finish and just failed to win the race….I was very taken with her run in a tough slog against the conditions on the day. :rose: Jac

Following cash outs, Quadrilateral 10-1 ew is my only bet in this. I may just stick with that one.

With the news that Aiden O’Brien is thinking of bringing over Love (Galileo) Peaceful (Galileo) and So Wonderful (War Front)to contest the 1000 Guineas I have gone for my each way bets on..
    PEACEFUL.. 20/1 Ladrokes`
    and agree with Frenchy that
LOVE now as low as 12/1 Bet365
must have an outstanding chance already a Group winner where she stayed on to beat Daayeh in The Moyglare (7f)
    where Albigna was 6th.
So Wonderful needs to have progressed to beat her two rivals but Hermosa was outsider of three last year against Fairyland and Just Wonderful so cannot be discounted.

Well done with the 22/1 on Love Frenchy.. wasn’t quick enough for that. :good:

Peaceful is my main hope against Quadrilateral I really liked the way she quickened to make up the ground against Born With Pride in bottomless conditions which didn’t suit her flatter action, in The Montrose and if she has trained on will be there fighting out the finish again.

Hard to know which of AOB’s will have trained on the best.

Oisin Murphy booked for Millisle. Had a look at the Cheveley Park. Blimey O Reilly that horse finished like a train having been outpaced. Looks like a horse that needed further, not a sprinter to my eyes. Looked long and rangey as well so hopefully may have developed physically over the winter. So have added as ‘my 2nd string bet’ at 12-1 ew.

I have joined Jac on Peaceful at 20s- a fine big filly with scope for improvement and I really liked the Newmarket run when she may have been on the wrong side.

Had a free bet to use with PaddyP so put that on her for the Oaks at 25s with a powerup to 28s. She is similarly bred to Rip Van Winkle who only came 4th in Guineas+Derby…mind you that was Sea the Stars’ year!
