DJ,
I was beginning to wonder that myself.
Here we have a horse, officially the highest rated in the race, who has won a french derby and finished runner up in the Arc (not forgetting his shemma classic triumph).
While I do believe Kris Kin could turn out to be a fair bit better than the rest of a mediocre bunch of three year olds (possible exception of Alamsher) I think the 8/1 about Sulamani is too big.
IMO if he hadn’t have run in the Grand Prix de Saint-Cloud he’d be vying for favouritism.

I agree with tdk.
I have recently found myself, rather than trying to study form, simply looking at ante post races with the intention of trying to fathom out the horses that I think will run and those that wont.<br>Then trading accordingly, i.e backing at longer odds and then laying when say the favourite is pulled out.
While I have had a fair bit of success with this, most profitably with YoulNeverWalkAlone in the national, this isn’t the reason I fell in love with the sport when I was a teenager.
Can’t see how it will change though.

An article in this mornings R.P reports that after comments made by A P O’Brien regarding the state of the ground, Clerk of the course Nick Cheyne is to start watering on the Monday before the race. He now expects the ground to be riding on the slow side of good.
I’ll join the S.S bandwagon and take some of the 66’s please tdk.
P.S. Can I have Non Runner – No Bet

I agree to his future probably being over 12f. Still think he could make the frame though.
Also by having him in there Six Perfections might not have monolopy on the post race hard luck stories ;) .
I’d take them all on, possible exception of D.D
Come on Kalaman
