Great??? The 2nd most over-used word (just behind Genius)… He was a good flat horse for one season and a couple of races… Is it not the fact that the flat industry is so desperate to have heros that any decent horse that comes along is elevated to Greatness. Lets see some horses doing it year in year out, over different distances, track, countries before we start over using words like "All time greats"
The fact that Fisher thinks that the temp staff not knowing about the Jockey Club is the problem, was the worrying thing for me. Try and fix the actually sport rather than pi$$ing about with dish washers, and easter eggs. My reason for going to racing does not depend on the ablity of a temp worker handing out the starters in the race course bar. Price money in this country is a joke now, the costs to watch racing are a joke, and the guvnors are so out of touch they cant even see it. "Employee of the month" £200 voucher! Amazing stuff Fisher…… On the plus side me and Grassy can be seen entering the turnstiles on Gold Cup day.

Some of his recent Denman quotes have been beyond silly.I was more worried about Matty having a thread about what clothes he should wear to Askit… That really tells you everything that is wrong with racing…(and esp flat racing) Dress code for any racing should be clear. "Dress for the weather"
I’m with Seven Towers….its the summer. The flat racing is even worse than a normal year. People are bored. Once the proper racing is back it’ll all pick up.
Pop all your gear on, look in the mirror. If you look like a twat then you have the Ascot look perfect!
