Wichita Lineman has as good a chance as any of them, on his old hurdling form he would be up there with the favourites.Great prospect!
Dedicated to the cause Grey! Well played!
The 07 Gold Cup tells you Exotic can chase Kauto"s backside! A lot of folk would be amazed if Exotic beats Kauto on Saturday! I will just be relieved to claw back some of my losses from supporting him loyally!
Thanks Pilgarlic! Nice to know someone else remembers my old pal!
My lasting impression of Kalahari king is the one of him sauntering round Cheltenham into 4th place behind Captain Cee Bee! i felt that day he was a horse to watch when he jumped a fence. On closer inspection he has now ran 30 times, admittedly winning 9 of them, but he just doesn"t have the scope of some of the lightly raced Arkle pretenders in my opinion! I could see him running well at Aintree for some reason!
Matt Chapman has worked on the front line of racing and through experience has gained enough knowledge of the industry to paint his colourful picture! Occasionally his tongue that he uses as his brush gets a bit carried away and he creates a "PicAsso" which unfortunately is not to everyones taste! Jim Mcgrath C4 on the other hand in my opinion is the most knowledgeable person in racing! but with a moustache he would be Adolf Hitlers twin brother and his paintings are very black and white, he lacks any colour to his personality! At the end of the day it comes down to Personal choice!!
If Denman gets an entry great! even if Exotic Dancer gets an entry Snowy will avoid the dreaded top weight! having said that Top weights have run well in many Nationals so i am expecting a run for my money! Its a race that you have done well in if your selection gives you a run for your money!
Aaah Grasshopper,
Imagine if the force that could carry 11-12 with a rating of 182 should appear in the line up! Snowy would be carrying 10-6 and would have to make up the 10 length he was beaten at levels in the Sun Alliance ch! That would be interesting!Grasshopper,
I am of the opinion that Snowy is going to be one of those horses that excels at Aintree for the next few years hopefully! What i saw in last seasons Grand National was a raw recruit to Aintree and with another year under his belt will be only 9yo for next years renewal! He still has the scope for further improvement 11-3 would be an ideal weight!Having backed Exotic Dancer to beat Kauto Star every time they have met
i am not confident "Twinkle toes" relishes a battle and even if he could get within a neck of Kauto i feel Exotic wont go through with it! Heres hoping!I am the 1st to say i thought Snowy Morning was a poor jumper, but he proved me wrong in last seasons Grand National and took to Aintree like a duck to water, I have backed him Ante-post at 25/1 and am happy to stick with him!
Ballyfitz has the look of a Sun Alliance horse now! Another smart performance puts him in the mix with a lot of potentially top class 3m novice Chasers!
Thats the 3rd time Jered has been beaten on Heavy ground! He wont run on it again, so i hope we get good ground for the Champion Hurdle!

Silverburn may have been beaten fair and square, but i just got the feeling he got himself into a lot of scrimmaging in the early part of the race and always seemed to be fighting a losing battle! The mistake at the 2nd last
certainly cost him any chance of a place but on the whole it was a dissapointing run for a well backed 11/4 fav off his current mark! Any ideas of winning a Ryanair ch went down with my money!!Albertas Run is 14/1 for the Hennessey and is the best e/w bet of the season so far!
So long as they are not planted near the fences!!!!!!!!!!
