Anyone remember this fella? If my memory is correct he was beaten by a super horse in Very Promising at Cheltenham in 84/85 but gained his revenge in the H & T Gold cup at Ascot! He was trained by John Webber and ridden by Graham McCourt! He was an old favourite of mine!
November 16, 2008 at 05:33 #189999Remember him being very useful but then his form declining GW.
For whatever reason I think he`d been transferred to Henderson late in his career and do remember him being in the yard for the first Lambourn Open Day I went to ( 1987 I think)November 19, 2008 at 13:27 #190609Thanks Pilgarlic! Nice to know someone else remembers my old pal!
November 20, 2008 at 01:57 #190712As soon as I saw that header the words John Webber went through my mind. Funny how I can remember who trained a horse I haven’t thought of for 20 years but can’t remember what I did yesterday……

November 20, 2008 at 05:02 #190752Have come across a (poor) photo I took of him in his box from the open day which at least shows all might not be lost with my fast fading memory
