What’s wrong with Ant and Dec? I think they are great.
The people I can’t stand would include:
Clive Anderson
Vernon Kaye
Alan Davies
Eddie Izzard
Jimmy Carr
Steve Coogan
Harry Hill
Tony Slattery
David Walliams and that bald twat he works with
Any Rap music, or other s**t
e that some moron in his car thinks he needs to play louder than a bloody open air concert. Also that total and utter s**t
e that has the lines:
I don’t wanna see a ghost, it’s the thing I fear the most, I’d rather have a piece of toast. That garbage makes Aga Doo sound like one of the all time classics.
Thisthatandtother would have murdered Arkle, Brigadier Gerard wouldn’t have seen which way Dubai Millenium went, and Sir Percy would be far too classy for Nijinsky.
That’s what I think, and I’m not alone either.
I asked Father Christmas and the tooth fairy what they thought, and they both agree with me.
I can’t believe the politically correct brigade haven’t already slaughtered you all for posting such comments.
The truth is no defence in this country you know.
I’m saddened ro read not many are turning up at Kempton as it could put an end to AW racing there, something I hope never happens
I’m the complete opposite of Jim, I hope that even less people turn up to watch this dross, then all the other tracks considering inflicting this garbage on us might have second thoughts and stick to turf racing.
I accept that some people like it, and it certainly provides an alternative when the real racing has been abandoned, but we’ve got more than enough all weather tracks now in my opinion.
I agree, as much as this guy is a despicable piece of s**t I don’t think you should have the death sentence for rape, even when it’s done to a small child.
The b*****d should be jailed for a very long time, and have his bits cut off, but not the death sentence.
That should be saved for people like Ian Brady and the scum that tortured and murdered those girls in a Reading park.
The reason I think like this is because although the scumbag has harmed the girl both physically and mentally, I imagine she will recover fully and go on to lead a normal life. He hasn’t taken her life from her, and in my opinion that is the most evil thing anyone can do.
Thank You, I try my best.
Good luck in the morning :cheesy:
I agree with you, but surely it’s up to horse racing fans to show that there is a lot of interest in the sport.
I also agree that McCoy hasn’t had a particularly great season, but who has? He’s still extending his record number of national hunt wins.
This year nobody has done anything.
Darren Clarke is favourite to win because of the tragic death of his wife, and as sad as that is, it’s no reason for him to be voted Sports personality of the year. I’ve even heard rumours that he has said he won’t accept the award.
Then we have Zara Philips. Apparently she has done well in a sport watched by about half a dozen people.
McCoy doesn’t have to win, but these votes are to decide the final 10 people, and in a year where nobody has done anything, I think McCoy is worth his place in the top 10. It will also show the BBC that there is a lot of interest in horse racing.
If you can’t vote for McCoy, then vote for some other racing personality, but don’t complain about the lack of coverage racing gets if you can’t even be bothered to take 20 seconds to nominate a racing personality.

Yes, and hasn’t Beckham won it?
He has the personality of a sausage.
If mcCoy hasn’t got a cat in hells chance, how come he finished 3rd a few years ago?
I’ll tell you why, it’s because a number of us on these racing forums got together and forced the BBC to put him on the shortlist.
Before we decided to do that he was going to be ignored, he never even got a mention on the BBC website that year until we voted in number.
I just thought that if the people who visit this site consider themselves as racing fans, they might like to actually support a racing personality in an event that is quite a big deal to a lot of people.
Obviously if it’s too much trouble to spend almost 30 seconds voting for a man who always gives 100% in every race, it’s no wonder horse racing is considered a minority sport.

I stopped watching the morning line when they put it on in the middle of the bloody night, but apart from that, I find myself in agreement with Aranalde, Zilzal, and Barry Dennis.
I vote for Brian Taylor
I haven’t done a placepot since William Hills switched to those pathetic lottery style betting slips, but I did my first ever placepot online today, and I thought I was bloody unlucky.
I banked on Hurricane run, doubled up in the first leg with Dijeer and To The Max, and doubled up again in the 4th leg with Dabbers Ridge and Marching Song.
In the second leg I had the 10/1 winner Satulagi, and in the last I had the joint fav Roman Maze.
The only leg I failed on was the third leg, and my two horses finished 4th and 5th.
Unfortunately that is what often happens with the placepot, and you only need one leg to go wrong to do your money. But I thought I did most of the hard work.

As I’ve already stated, I think all weather racing is dull and it doesn’t hold much interest for me, which is why I personally wouldn’t go to Kempton. But there is a strong possibility that the crowd numbers for evening racing are affected by the horrendous traffic in the area from about 4pm onwards.
If you wanted to go to Kempton for a meeting that started at 2pm, the only traffic problems you would face would be the race traffic. Once you get past about 4pm though, the whole of West London becomes gridlocked, nobody in their right mind would attempt to drive anywhere unless they really had to.
Windsor isn’t too bad, you can join the M4 anywhere after junction 3 and it’s more or less motorway all the way and you can move along ok. The only real traffic you might meet is very close to the track.
Kempton on the other hand is close to Ashford, Hampton, Sunbury and even Kingston. All of which can be pretty busy in the rush hour, as is the main road from London heading out towards the M3.
It would make the place a right pain to drive to for an evening meeting.
I voted 7 because the option of 3 days wasn’t there.
I wouldn’t go to Kempton simply because I think all weather racing is crap.
Good luck to all those who like it, but in my opinion it should only be staged when we are knee deep in snow and frost.
Kempton is the nearest course to where I live, but there’s no way I’ll ever go. I think all weather racing is poor in comparison to turf racing, so I wouldn’t want to feel I’m contributing to encouraging racecourses to switch to all weather. I hope the attendance figures drop off myself.
Test over
