Cheers Robert..
We’ll have to get a soap made about your betting exploits!
Funny you should mention Culcabok we actually had a £40 win on
him with the Tote.. paid out over 3.5k!! i still carry the Tote
receipt with me for luck… not that I’ve had much since. My only regret is that I didn’t put in Isaquah with him for the
RFC as on reading the Sporting Life the night before I had marked
them as the two most likely. I was still too excited after having
£2ew on Mon Mone in the National beforehand! Needless to say that
a bunch of Dublin boys really enjoyed themselves that night!I’ll keep an eye out for your selections.
Have a lucky festival.
Robert, always like reading your posts and sticking some
of your selections into small bets.Just wondering if there is anything on your radar for the Aintree
festival as I will be traveeling over tomorrow and will not have any web access to catch up on your posts.I notice that there are a few of your Cheltenham fanices entered
do you hold out much hope for any?Any pointers greatly appreciated in particular Fri/Sat card.
Cheers,
SS
ps sorry about the Spurs!
Hi Robert,
Really like reading your posts and blog.
Had Diddley Dee in a patent and e/w acca along with Veiled 4.40W
let down by Thanks For Coming 3.50 for a tidy sum.
Oh well, at leat I live to fight another day. Thanks!
Cheers Peter H…
Maybe Frankie Figg will sneak in instead and make amends for unseating at the second last in last years Topham when going really well.
It could be all or nothing with him…
Do you think Always Waining has any chance of getting in?
He was my main hope on my shortlist of outsiders along withRoll Along
Surface To Air
Frankie Figg
Bluesea CrackerVery disappointed if he doesn’t run

Thanks Steve.. I’ll check out that thread.
I plan to try study some stats/trends from the last number
of festivals with the view to catching a forecat/tricast or two!
I have ordered the Aintree Festival Guide from Weatherbys and
hope this will help me turn a profit on my trip.have you had much luck doing this… your methods of selection?
Have high hopes Roll Along and Always Waining will run nice races
in the National.Thanks,
Stephen.Afternoon All,
Never really got around to looking into this section.
My name is Stephen and I’m from Dublin, Ireland, land of
Cheltenham winners (not backed by me though!)I’ve been a member for a while now but don’t always feel
confident or knowlageable enough to post.
Love reading and mining on this site and some of the posters
are very generous and humble in their views and opinions.Looking forward to the Aintree festival where i will be travelling for the Fri/Sat cards.
Can’t wait to see my fav horse Peddlers Cross in the flesh again… gave everything last week
hopefully he turns up fit and well.
Fancy a few at nice prices in the National.. fingers crossed.Stephen.
Morning All,
Thank you for all your replys and advice.. I haven’t been
on since my OP and had promised myself I wouldn’t login
durind work(I’m weak). Will read all tonight when I have a
minute to myself.Thanks again,
SS.
Thanks Guy’s… Noted.
Nothing will repeat my success of last year
£2 e/w on Mon Mome and then £40w on Culcabok
in the next at 66/1!! Couldnt believe the horse
came in at that price.I might put Wishful Thinking in a double with
Foundation and stick my house on it : )No problem Emian, I’m very much used to win some LOSE some at the moment! Look forward to you next selection. Me thinks it’s a little more than beginners luck!!
Excellent start… I’ve just joined today but look forward to some future posts…
