Yeah, I think in the modern world, we have to be realistic about what it can allowed to be though.

Tremendous, although he does nod at a few of them :)

Regarding Don Poli..Who is this Darren Yates?? He must have a lot of money to waste
I like to try an green up.
My primary fancy is Ramses and i would have no doubth about his stamina. He has really went to the line in his marathons.
i laid Tiger roll at 4s antipost for a large amount….who would even bet in those circumstances?? I will back him i suppose now but not sure what exactly im doing here.
ive also backed tea for two, blow by blow and ballyoptic and ultragold not because i fancied them but only because i expect price to shorten a little.
i also have joe farrell. Overall i realise i have a bias towards under 11 stone and more proven stayers. That was a strategy that worked 10 years ago sadly
Overall, not confident.

Less competitive than when Ginge? Before the handicapper compressed the weights, all one had to do was find a stayer with less 10,10 on his back and one was half way there.

Maybe southfield stone is a bit of value here

Easier track might be an issue.
I think that rest is a bit speculative. Aramon has been very dissapointing on soft ground a few times. I like a few of the others but I think the price on Aramon is getting wrong.SHL
well i do think Tiger Roll has a better chance than most returners. It may be that he is actually improving this year and he still has a raceable weight. Ground isnt an issue and perhaps theres no obvious other
That said 7/2 or 4s seems outlandish but plenty on betfair willing to back him 4.3 on betfair.
I would give Ms Parfois a big chance if there was some dig in the ground

like pipes horse, Remes de taille.
Anyone like to hazard a guess on Tiger Rolls odds on the day?
4/1 seema insane for a national entry. He has an obvious chance but plenty of weight dor a small horse

“From midnight tonight upto the start of racing tomorrow it will be raining almost non stop.
It’s either soft or heavy on friday。”
Ah here potato, are you sure its not cheltenham US your looking at

SHL
expected more of them to at least be fighting it out at the finish. Any explanations offered
SHL
Ground deader today. There is some more rain due over the next few days.
Have we any comparison between this year and last years ground?? I have a few bob on Might Bite at 20s but cant see him reversing on native river unless the ground is a lot better.
SHL
She doesnt have to be compared to Frankel.
Shes beaten plenty of decent sorts. We dont keep making a thing out of what has Enable or Seathestars beaten or that Frankel won the worst Guineas possibly ever. Her acvievements make her one the great fillies.
SHL
being capable of giving her best time after time is remarkable enough.
Benbatl is a decent yard stick as was the likes of highland reel.
SHL
It wasnt a no brainer. late price changes alone suggested otherwise.
Agree completely with your logic and if we were in Gosdens position, its the correct course of action. However, if I were in oppenheimers shoes, it could be a different story. Thats why im curious as to the financial implications.
Not looking like a vintage arc

Anyone know the financial cost of letting cracksman in til the last minute?
my 1000/1 bet on Nelson looks good

SHL
I backed at a high amount (for me) Cracksman at an average of 28 and laid off for an average around 20. Dont know if he will make it but knew he would be in the mix. Ground is currently good to soft if you could believe the French. They want it to ride good at the weekend but that band of rain might put paid to that yet.
Ive also backed Magical at 195 and laid off at 125, Neubosc and Hunting horn.
And yet, its Enable and Waldstein who I think will fight this out

SHL
How about i make a bold prediction?
i think itll rain in paris on saturday into sunday. i believe the surface is a little false and will loosen very quickly.
Cracksman will run
