With the news of Faugheen it surely makes sense to send Annie Power to a now weak looking Champion, rather than take on Thistlecrack in the World hurdle.
I backed the winner in this with Zarkandar in 2012 and My Tent or Yours in 2013. My logic was simply being the belief they were both grade 1 horses.
The 2 races since then though have been won at big odds, making all in a slowly run race.
I can see Sternrubin being most handy so will be backing him on that basis.

Mullins confirms bellshill for the Neptune
I would think that means Yorkhill will go for the Supreme assuming Wylie wants to keep his novice hurdlers apart. He did say Up for Review would be his one for the Albert Bartlett.
Yorkhill’s looked impressive whenever I’ve watched him so Min might not be a forgone conclusion (unless he’s another Douvan)
The only danger to Faugheen’s crown would have been if they had kept Douvan over hurdles.
Can see why they didn’t though as the Champion and the Arkle look safely secured for connections.
Looking forward to seeing Three Musketeers in the Dipper. I too was impressed with his win at Newbury.
JLT picture still to become clearer but one for the shortlist should he oblige on Friday.
No doubt More of That is a danger, particuarlly with his record of 4-4 at prestbury park.
Sky’s the limit for this horse No More Heroes. Jumps, stays and looks to have bags of class. I couldn’t oppose him in the RSA.
Surprising to see Arctic Fire taking his chance in the stayers hurdle today. Short priced favourite stepping up to 3 miles on heavy ground. I know Martello Tower hasn’t yet had a run this year but he would surely rank a safer bet as a game stayer over a speed horse in those conditions.
Can’t see past Don Poli in the Lexus. The race should play to the horse’s strengths much like last year when winning the Topaz Novice Chase over course and distance.
I remember listening to Mick Fitzgerald during the 2013 Festival coverage. He said he asked Ruby about this horse and his face lit up as if to say this was a serious good’un.
The Neptune he finished 3rd in was a 7 or 8 runner field with no pace, resulting in The New One using his speed to fly home when they got racing.
All I would say regarding the RSA is No More Heroes looks a worthy favourite right now, has jumped his fences like a stag so far and should relish every yard of the RSA trip. More of That is also a danger with his record of 3-3 round Cheltenham. Great race in prospect at this stage.
Minella Rocco to make his debut over fences in the novice chase at Haydock on Friday.
Interesting runner for Jonjo who also has More of That as a RSA/JLT prospect.
