As you can probably tell by my username I am a huge huge fan of this horse, in fact I have been ever since I was at Cholet for his debut back in 2012. Ever since then I have been a huge admirier of him, I was instantly attracted to him (not something that usually happens to me at all). Anyway, when he got beat in the Neptune the following year I was gutted but couldn’t wait for him to go over fences. Cue, many a bet on him for the following year’s RSA. Low and behold he got injured, the same thing of course happened again last year when I had 70’s on hime for RSA again. For some odd reason I did the same thing this year out of love for the horse and managed to stumble across some 85’s, however only placed a very small bet.

When he finally reappeared this last Sunday gone, I couldn’g have been happier to him with all his old zest and was wandering what you guys think of him for the future. I know he beat very little but i couldn’t help but be impressed in the way he accelerated between the final two fences, especially for a horse who supposedly has stamina in abundance. I think he could go right to the top this year in the staying novice chasers division, and have gone back in rather heavily for this years RSA.

I think if he stays sound you have the bet of the century. I recall hearing an interview earlier this year with Rich Ricci and he said if he stayed sound he was the best horse he had.
Your 85s is a great bet and good luck I hope he stays sound for you.

I remember listening to Mick Fitzgerald during the 2013 Festival coverage. He said he asked Ruby about this horse and his face lit up as if to say this was a serious good’un.

The Neptune he finished 3rd in was a 7 or 8 runner field with no pace, resulting in The New One using his speed to fly home when they got racing.

All I would say regarding the RSA is No More Heroes looks a worthy favourite right now, has jumped his fences like a stag so far and should relish every yard of the RSA trip. More of That is also a danger with his record of 3-3 round Cheltenham. Great race in prospect at this stage.
