It was absolutely brilliant how Hughes managed to get through that pack from 2F out. I honestly thought he was a gonner & always come home with a late charge.. Fantastic, backers must have been sweating !

I don’t know if anyone is still paying attention to this post, but here goes.
I am a full time Futures & Sports trader & have been doing this with reasonable success for 17 months.
I use Betfair for trading & look to trade out of a price before the start. I also lay selected short priced horses on Betfair & trade futures with IG in the financial markets.
You have to set yourself goals & develop a methodology which best suits your personality, or you won’t make it to were you want to go or achieve !
I always stick with the old saying – trade what you see & not what you hear, If you follow the herd you will end up in the 90% club (fact).

    Cheers

It was my first time at a racecourse in a few years, when I went to Sedgefield evening races last may, which was organised through my partner’s work !
It was £10 each block booking & included a racecard & pork pie.
The races were all class 5 & 6 & had a claimer & seller to boot.
I ashamed to admit it, but I spent most of my time watching the champions league final indoors.
Although it’s not rated as won of the better courses, I have’nt been to another course since !

Yes your spot on, I find Betfair now take an arrogant stance & have totally forgotten about the people who built their business over the last eight years. I went to one of their education days last september in Middlesbrough, just before they announced the premium charge & not one of them had the courage to enlighten the audience of these forthcoming charges !

Unfortunately you won’t get far with Betfair. They have become a monster & are vying for Ftse 350 status & trying to keep their shareholders happy. Not good for the punters, as the additional costs get passed on to them & whilst they continue to grow & can afford to advertise at every sporting event & ground in the UK, nothing will get in their way. They’ve forgotten who put them their & in eight years & have become a sporting superpower !

    Cheers

Hi Everyone, my first post on the forum. I don’t think I’ll be paying the £7.50 a month purely on principle. You can still get the basic information, but to go more in depth, you need to look elsewhere to make your daily selections to back/lay. It’s getting more difficult to make a living in this game between add ons & premium charges, were will it all end !

    Cheers
