I did understand that Nick Henderson was not actually banned and that Karl Burke has been but do you think that a small fine for a millionaire such as Nick Henderson would not be seen by many as any sort of punishment?

The restriction of entries by the Seven Barrows yard will not really affect them as they have so few ‘summer jumpers’ anyway.

Why can Nick Henderson who is also banned continue to live at his Lambourne yard?

No one can tell me that although Nicky Henderson is banned all the time he is going to be surrounded by his horses on a daily basis that he will be able to resist talking to his staff, maybe even checking his horses over or watching them exercise in his covered walkway or on his private gallops.

Whilst I have no sympathy for the position Karl Burke is in he seems to have been made an example of whilst Henderson seems to have got off lightly.

If they floated the comapny even in these harsh economic times there will be enough investors to ensure the floatation is a sucess.

Paul Eatcott in yesterdays R.P. reports the company report a rise in revenue last year of 27% to £303 million.

He also wrote the comapny will look to go to the market in the final quarter of 2009 or the first 3 months of 2010 so its way off at the moment. By then many forceaster are predicting that the current on line ban in the USA could be lifted and they then would have the funds to go global.

The company already have access to 32 million homes in the states where they provide horse racing coverage from TVG an American company they paid £34 million for.

The ones that must be kicking themselves are Ladbrokes and Hills who both turned the invitation from Andrew Black to invest with them!

Glad to see a British company taking on the World.
