Rose CadeauxI know I have missed a couple of races out but the Lincoln I have already spoke about on other threads and the other race at Kempton is not my kind of race
Does anyone have an opinion on Palypso de Creek which I think ran well behind Our Vic and also behind Venturi and that run was at Aintree.
I have to agree with greydolphin my first thoughts were "that is close" and also"Shay is gonna look silly if it aint won".
AND BOY DID HE LOOK SILLYMarch 27, 2010 at 16:39 in reply to: Grand National ,worst horse and one who boxed above itself #285958Does my memory serve me right? Wasn’t Scu cruising on a good horse one year and fell and hurled his whip down in disgust or frustration or both??
Was it called something to do with Gold maybe?
My memory is going I am sure!! LOL Or Time maybeThat has absolutely S**t in!!! What do I know? NADA!!
Have to admit the winner was quite impressive!!
Not my kind of price but looks like a group/listed horse in the future.Durely after the Sping Mile the fav can’t win from that draw now??? Or can it?
I hope Fahey has the winner but probably won’t be either of the two I have backed!! LOLThanks ST Must have a go now!! LOL
Its a shame the Gosden hoss is a non runner cos we all could have had fun with the Gosden wife link but hey it means one less to beat LOL

March 26, 2010 at 13:15 in reply to: Grand National ,worst horse and one who boxed above itself #285703I dunno about worst horse but worst jockey has to have the "Village Idiot" Marcus Armytage in its top ten!! Mr Frisk was a damned good horse on decent ground and he just sat on it!!
As most of you will already know I am on Albaqaa but have decided to also back Doctor Crane cos it could be one of these group horses in hiding and its owned by Gosdens WIFE!! And also Prime Exhibit cos that also could be unexposed but hey I usually back placed horses in the Lincoln not the winner!!
Imperial Commander was impressive and I ammazed people are saying that the winner of next years Gold Cup will come from the RSA Chase I personally think they have to improve beyond recognition to win a Gold Cup any year let alone next year. Long Run has a massive engine but is a guesser as a jumper and Punchestowns has been found out big time at the highest level and the winner Weapons Amnesty (which I backed by the way!) just isnt quick enough to be a Gold Cup winner.
I have an opinion and I am entitled to it!!

I bet seven horses ante post at Cheltenham and NOT one of them won!! My only joy was James De Vassy placed and that Irish horse beginning with A in the triumph that finished third!! I must admit I had LOADS on Super Kenny for the triumph cos I believe it is Hendo’s best four year old and I think the future will show this!!
Backed Forpady in the QM cos I had lumps on it last year in the Arkle but hey second aint bad, well it was good considering some of the animals I backed ante post!!Woe!Woe and thrice woe!! As some you know I have backed an animal of Fahey’s and he has left FIVE in!! Yes FIVE!! That means he is not confident about any of them to me!! And mine is drawn nineteen!! Maybe thats not very good and my 25/1 ante post is not looking good at this moment but hey I am an optimist and if you are not in you cant win!!

I am pretty surprised a lot of you are going for Snowy Morning as he has had two goes at the National and on the first occasion he ran well but on the second occasion he patently failed to stay!! I think his time has come and gone and you ought to be more interested in Arbor Supreme. But hey what do I know?
He was carrying 11,8 last year… there’s no wonder he struggled last year whereas in 08 he only had 11,1.
I would have thought that at eight or nine years old the horse would generally be at its peak and as a ten year old I personally cant see it improving. However in a few weeks we shall see!! And as far as the weight is concerned it would appear to be an animal in decline and thats not the kind of horse I will be backing in the National.
Also is there a horse that has won the National at its third attempt?Oh dear I have backed Albaqaa of Faheys and its had a run!! Only consolation is I am on at 25/1
