The only problem with that Z is horses tend to improve from two to three!!
    And I still don’t fancy SNA!! :o

I have no particular fancy for the guineas but to me 2/1 is FAR too short a price for SNA but "hopefully" its weight of money and not hype thats made it that price!!

I know Mike Dillon seems to have an "in" to Coolmore but it does seem short!!

I might change the last two at Haydock having seen how they bet but I think that race maybe a good one to get a result in!! By the way Warnes Way is thrown in at his best in that last at Haydock!!

I am leaning more and more towards Stewarts House which has no weight and has won on heavy AND beat Arbor Supreme last time out. Main minus is it has never ran over further than two miles six!! But I have backed it already and will be going in again come Monday morning!!

And just for the tricast in this nice easy race I have also backe Moskova and Alpha Ridge!!

Good luck with them both TAPK but as I have said on the Grand National thread I think your Snowy Morning money is not in a good place!!

    But once again be lucky!!

In reply to the wuestion regarding whether a poor jumper should be allowed to run in the National my reply would be the same!!
    Its up to the owners!!
As long as the horse qualifies then it shouldn’t be an issue whether its a good or poor jumper.

And no I am no relation to the owners of Knowhere

Surely it should be up to the owner and trainer as to whether the horse runs in the National. I know a lot of people think that Knowhere has no chance of jumping round safely but that is an opinion!!
It smacks of nanny state to me to say what can or can’t run in a national because of its jumping ability or lack of it. I think some people are questioning its participation on the grounds of it taking another horses place!!
How many people moaned about horses like Cerium etc in the past??

I am not a trainer or an owner but I would imagine the decision lies with those two and not us mere mortals!!

My picks would have to be

    CH LARGE ACTION

    GC WAYWARD LAD

Large Action was a genuine great hurdler and never got the credit he deserved.

Wayward Lad was an absolute machine over three miles with such class on flat tracks but never got up the Cheltenham hill in victory.
I believe an animal called Dawn Run beat him once!! Which for me was heartbreaking but for millions of others was a great result!!

Related contingency bets are a sad fact but they have always been awful odds and as long as we know this we can bet OR NOT accordingly!!

Personally I think Elusive will be staying on but will probably lack the basic speed to lie handy enough to get a blow in in the Guineas
