really like Romsdal myself Jimmy, only nagging doubt(albeit he has stuff top top class form) he is yet to win on the green stuff
good write up steve,i can normally tell if a horse is fit or not in the paddock(all the years i have been going,i suppose i had to pick up something) but i still cannot get a handle on a grey horse by looking at them.Maybe as you say its something to do with the colour.
one of the best Greenhams i can recall.Very much doubt i will be playing, but if push came to shove,Fannaan would be my EW play.
Good luck if you play
thank you nathan. After viewing the race again,i have had to have a few shillings on her e/w @ 20s for the Gns.Not confident of collecting the win part, but if you look at the way the race is slightly falling apart,i think she is worth a roll of the dice. Its 12s bar Found,so its quite open, bar the Ballydoyle inmate
do you think (golden Horn) will stay 12F,i am not so sure looking at the family.I hope he goes for the Dante, will give us more of a clue, plus i am up there for my annual pilgrimage to the Knavesmere(love the three days of the Dante meeting)
cheers steve, agree with you dont think the Nell Gwyn form will be up to winning the 1000.Just wonder if they will now bring Ervedya over, but i think thats wishful thinking on my part, with my 20s voucher.lol
thought Dettori dropped his hands a bit early there
PL +9.75
yep john gosden’s said he’s not going
very disappointing, like you say, cant see him going back to HQ for the Gns,no spark whatsoever.
yep can see why some are against Osaila had a tough year,up against some well regarded lightly raced sorts, but hoping i’ll at least fall in the frame.
TBF steve her second run did come in the Albany(winner of that Cursory Glance) when she ran a fair race imo,as she was racing a little away from the ‘real’ action early.I am really playing her as she seems tough and consistent, while on the downside others may progress past her.
1.5 PTS EW Osaila @ 5/1(123) Nell Gywn
for the Nell Gwyn i will be siding with the tough and consistent Osaila, think she falls short of winning the Gns,but at 5s is mye/w play in the race
only two rivals for John F Kennedy in sundays Ballysax.Success Days who won last week, but was well held last term in listed class last ,is held on that running by the other runner Zafilani, when third and fifth behind Parish Boy(who runs in 2000gns trial early on card
fair comments steve, just wonder though, with back problems wether they will send her over, after doubts about her in the dip last season
doubts about High Celebrity, held up by a back problem
Consort of Sir Michael Stoute’s looks unlikely to make the line up(needs more time)
