Pattern races/heritage handicaps

Obviously feel free to add any comments positive or negative.I,only play in the above mentioned races and stick to the turf,all the years i have tried, still cannot get a grasp of a/w racing.lol
Hopefully i can come up with a few winners throughout the coming 2015 turf season,i will give a brief reasoning to my bets throughout year.IMO patience is a key and i hope this thread will help me.So here goes

Today i will have one bet at Meydan (5.40),the selection is Ahzeemah.Fingers crossed his latest effort 23 days,will have put him spot on for todays event.On a strict line (goodwood cup form) there will not be alot between him and fav Cavarlyman,(who goes well fresh),in that case,i must back the selection at the present odds.

1.5PTS EW Ahzeemah 4/1 (WH 1/5 odds)

will keep a PL throughout coming season to see how much i lose

Haven’t seen the race but have been thinking about Cavalryman since he was scratched from the Melbourne Cup. Is he ok? One of my favourite flat horses.

early price of 11/10(PP) for Vercingetorix to win saturdays Jebel Hatta seems fair enough.Hunters Light next in about around the 7/2 is well held on lasts season CD form in the Dubai Duty Free,when behind Just A way.
Not normally a player at such prohibitive odds,but just feel he could well be a class above saturday’s field

So 3Pts win @ 11/10 is the call. GL

Early one for saturday @ Meydan,Solow,in the Dubai Turf.The nine furlongs is perfect for the Freddie Head inmate.He has a versatile racing style,has made all in the past,racing close to the pace is a plus imo at Meydan.I decent comeback run at start of march all bodes well(i hope)

Lets see if i can my season finally up and running,before the real action begins at home

two decent races at Longchamp today,Epicuris should take all the beating Prix La Force,but at prohibited odds its a no bet for me.In the Harcourt(2.55),with the ground riding very soft(according to going updates) i will side with last years beaten fav Norse King.6s is available at corals,so have played 1point e/w.

The likely fav makes the market,but for me,(although he was beat by Jack Hobbs) how can you back a horse beaten the length of the home straight at sandown,who is then put up four for that effort.
So for me the inform selection is worth a play.

In the Coronation i dont see any reason to desert the filly Dolniya who to me rates a 3Pt Win bet at 10/11 (available with a couple of firms)
The ground is fine for main danger Flintshire,but for me he just dont win enough.I am hoping the selection beats him again as she did in Meydan.

Solow 4pts win 13/8 love the horse and think fast pace will suit him here
Make Believe 2pts ew 7/2 will to take the chance he’ll go on the going at these odds(just hope he dont get a hard time up front)

Ray Ward 1pt ew 13/2 prob short enough now,but looked in the process of running a big race in this last season.

i have had a decent bet in the Hardwicke (NRNB 365) 4pts ew Postponed 4/1 (ew 123 1/4)

Solow did what i expected,while Ray Ward got chinned for 4th
