Price instantly gone with Coral. Not hitting many atm and it’s mostly the favs i am finding the value in which i dont like! Forever now will be my worst bet of the year imo although came in to 10/11 more give was in the ground than i anticipated plus first run out and the st leger form is not exactly turning out amazing!

They smashed into a Godolphin horse today in 3.50 at Leicester called Ocenographer. I had this as a 7/1 in my book, it opened 9/4 last night and got down to 4/7 at one point in a decent looking handicap. Think it beat one home.

I think early part of the season may see a massive overreaction to Godolphin stable runners based on the winter Aw form of Appleby.

Admittedly, your selection is on Aw though

    Hi see the sun!

I see what you’re saying about Godolphin and mug punters however I do take trainer form into one of my many factors and Appleby is simply on fire!

I worked the race out and 100/30 opened with Coral with a 118% book and that was value in my book now at virtually 7/4 value is well and truly elsewhere! It’s a funny old game isn’t it ;-)

Notarised should hit the front with I am hoping gold trail tracking in 2nd or 3rd if Buick holds up I will turn it off! Shouldn’t exactly be a fast run affair with storm force ten probably settled from hurdling and a few other held horses (one now a non runner) afonso de Sousa is the interesting one when it comes to judging the pace of this race, does Tudhope (who usually makes all on him) try and do it from stall 6 or drop behind? He should drop behind considering Afonso de Sousa’s best efforts have been when well held up but at times jockeys do indeed baffle me!

Afonso de Sousa; last run only I say only 14 days ago to some it might look strong being 2 lengths behind a 115 rated romsdal who was running an inadequate stiff (good ground) 10f to me I may be wrong doesn’t look that good admittedly I don’t look into sectional timing which can be useful on the A/W especially. Not too mention he’s one of these horses who I believe is in a ‘pocket’ struggling between handicaps and pattern company (awkward rating)

Fire fighting; no doubt has ability but obviously quirky with gear fitted, Kirkby who I have respect for on this course especially could bring the best out of him but he had a hard race only 8 days ago and a very busy 2014/15 indeed, Johnston take a Frikking chill pill! I see it all the time horses run to the ground and I am not suprised he goes on abysmal losing stretches.

Storm force ten; went hurdling now back from testing 2+ miles and could be anything off this mark especially if running to his first chester race form. flopped the second time! surely he will be outpaced in this now but who knows (used to track)

£50 ANGELIC LORD @ 10/1 LOST happy with this price hopefully settles and sits handy

    4:40

    £100 MONDIALISTE @ 11/2LOST

What an effort in the lincoln! First horse to hit the front and not fade in that strong headwind giving 5 lb to Gabrial, Also to note drifted massively to 25/1 oncourse suggesting he was keen or unhappy in the parade ring. will strip fitter for this.
i cannot see any pace in the race apart from glory awaits and french navy needs it but saying that won a slowly ran mile last time out. Arod needs further surely.

    It’s all about Romsdal tommorow
very impressive over 10f at kempton and can make all with the tail wind and not much pace in the John porter stakes tommorow. looks to have settled nicely since last year and can beat the plodding windshear easily. Pethers moon will run his race but tough task with the penalty.
    arab spring main danger.
looking at a max bet on Romsdal hoping opens 15/8 minimum get on, the price aint gonna last

The spring cup, i cannot believe DREAM SPIRIT is not clear favourite for this, it’s the biggest value bet of the year so far for me. The lincoln suited Gabrial and the other held horses massivly but not this.
