I’ve got a financial interest in Alexandra, other than that i much prefer the audition process when you get all the ones that cant sing but think they are great and cant understand why they get knocked back, good comedy.

It was very generous of Nathan to mention me earlier, especially after I ballsed up on swapping phone numbers ahead of the Taunton visit such that none of the rest of us could find him on the day

Not generous at all, your posts are always a joy.

Taunton balls up was as much my fault GC, was going to PM you my mobile but never got around to doing it, then such as my shambolic organisation left my 1978 Somerset scarf at home which no one in the world owns apart from me not even the cricket museum, i am a wally.

David Brady started a thread a while back questioning that correct scores and first goalscorers are a bookies bonus, this comp might prove him right.

    Thanks for the update Cormack.

Does anyone know any news on Black Jarcari, is this race still part of the plans? I had an ante post bet ages ago.

The shortlist for poster of the year should be a long list with the talent of contributions on the forum. 8)

I don’t post much on the horse racing section either because my knowledge of the sport is terrible but that’s why i joined because out of all the racing forums i checked out, i found this one to be the most informative, fun and friendly one on the net and i feel i understand the sport alot better now since becoming a member, were like one big family.

Andrew Hughes for me would certainly get non horseracing poster of the year if there was such a thing.

    [b:349nh2fm]Liverpool[/color:349nh2fm] vs Marseille[/color:349nh2fm][/b:349nh2fm]

    Liverpool win 2-0 is 11/2 BetFred 1pt
    Liverpool win 3-0 is 9/1 VC 1pt
Torres to score firstgoal is 7/2 Stan James 1pt

I was right that Marseille would make it an open game the only trouble was Liverpool were terrible in the second half to exploit the space.

    running total -11.

    [b:paui869i]Liverpool[/color:paui869i] vs Marseille[/color:paui869i][/b:paui869i]

A win tomorrow night(wed) and Liverpool will qualify into the next round of the champions league, and with no premiership fixture until Monday i expect Rafa to field a strong side which could include the return of Gerrard from injury (however you can never quite second guess Mr Benitez)

Marseille have to win if they want to continue in the competition so i don’t think they will be ultra defensive so it should be an open game. Liverpool’s defence seem solid at the moment with three clean sheets in a row, so for me it’s a case of how many the reds will score.

Fernando Torres amazingly has not scored at Anfield this season, i haven’t checked that mind i heard Jeff Stelling say it on sports saturday, i don’t think he tell lies. that record cant last for too much longer surely, so I’m going for him to net the opener.

    Liverpool win 2-0 is 11/2 BetFred 1pt
    Liverpool win 3-0 is 9/1 VC 1pt
Torres to score firstgoal is 7/2 Stan James 1pt

A great line up and will be tough to pick the winner from that lot although i don’t think Kicking King will be participating, unless he’s come out of retirement :?.

Thyne Again is the one I’m looking forward to seeing.

I don’t trust the public phone votes on any of the reality shows, I love it when they say £1.00 per min landline considerably more mobile, how much more considerably is that? could be £100 for all i know.

I like Joe aswell, seems a genuine nice lad good to see.

Looked at the Durham website and Breese is still there.

I hope Wes Durston gets the chance to fill Blackers position in the championship side, other options being Banks, Suppiah or play Munday for spin with an extra batsman maybe Edwards.
