that’s I’m a Celebrity….starting Sunday ITV
oh I’m really looking forward to this, I love all the crap:-
now these I know:-
Esther Rantzen –
Brian Paddick –
Martina Navratilova –
Robert Kilroy-Silk –
George Takei –I’ve never heard of these:-
Joe Swash – ex-Eastender
Simon Webbe – ?
Nicola McLean – Glamour Model
Dani Behr – ?
Carly Zucker – some footballer’s girlfriend apparentlyquite what Martina is doing in this I’m not sure but it’ll be great to see another side to her, but early guesses I take Paddick as he’s quite suave, rather dishy and being a liberal, hopefully a good mediator. Perhaps a tortured soul to go with it – which is just what we need.
I find this an interesting mix this year – unusually. <!– s:) –>

anyone else ready to rumble?November 12, 2008 at 04:07 #189315And quite why Esther Rantzen has decided to pitch up is beyond me.
November 12, 2008 at 04:20 #189316I wonder if we’ll see another romance this series-maybe one that will rival that of Jordan and Pete?
My money is on Brian and George
November 12, 2008 at 05:10 #189324The name joe swash rings a bell, was probably seen drunk at china whityes some time and it was in the paper. Who knows.
Simon webbe is the street cred token coloured chap that used to be in the boy band Blue. Had a couple of solo hits too.
Dani Behr Ive heard of, not sure if was on some program I didnt watch, think she was a 90s FHM girl though, and was giggsys girlfriend too I think.
Ester Rantzen seems to be popping up on TV quite a bit these days after years of not being on it, whats all that about. Unless she is trying to plug her new book that she was trying to plug on loose women the other month, which obviously I didnt see what with me being a geezer and all.

Think this series has all the hallmarks of a boring publicity scam, celebrity bad lads army would probably be better, if that was in the jungle, but whats the chances.
November 12, 2008 at 10:52 #189331Loose Women?..lol..you’re a glutton for punishment Bulwark..

…more chance than Brian and Martina I imagine, jilly.
Looking at Navratilova’s biography:-
”Having spent a long time in the bush, snakes don’t bother her”,….well, bless my soul
November 12, 2008 at 13:09 #189338I saw Rantzen on Question Time one night explaining how ‘WE’ the Isrealis are always blamed for being the aggressor unfairly. Up until that point I had mistakenly thought she was British. Still her English is pretty good.
November 12, 2008 at 16:27 #189361Think Nicola McClean is a WAG.
Simon Webbe is a boyband singer and solo artist (Blue are the band he was in)
Carly Zucker was in WAGS Boutique IIRC and is engaged to Chelsea and England midfielder Joe Cole
November 12, 2008 at 16:44 #189368I often wonder if there is a pecking order with the WAG’s i.e. who has got the good looking ones [eg Beckham] compared to, say, Crouch…….do they snigger amongst themselves in the loo about so and so having the short [or tall] ugly one…….

The format of this is getting a bit jaded at this stage – some people eat the insects – some don’t!
Chewing Gum for the brain really.
November 12, 2008 at 19:23 #189407Dani Behr Ive heard of, not sure if was on some program I didnt watch, think she was a 90s FHM girl though, and was giggsys girlfriend too I think.
She was a host on The Word for a while, replacing Amanda de Cadenet.
She was also the star of the first of Channel 4’s two alliterative …Dares series. Dani Dares saw her try to pass herself off as, among other things, a bounty hunter, a bodyguard and a stand-up comedian. Daisy Donovan took over from her in the second series.

November 17, 2008 at 03:04 #190155gone right off Paddick already – smarmy, full of himself..
George to win – I think he’s got some great one liners up his sleeve.
Presumably some of you gents are more than pleased with the glamour model, known as Nicola McLean? Much as I try they’re rather difficult to miss.
November 17, 2008 at 04:21 #190171Joe Swash must win the award for prick of the year after his little chat with Martina Navratilova.
JS "So where are you from originally?
MN "The Czech Republic"
JS "Is that near Prague?
November 21, 2008 at 03:12 #190964That’s the best show of Kilroy i have ever seen.

November 21, 2008 at 03:47 #190977it’s turned into the Kilroy Silk show. Do you think it’s been set up for him Nathan? seems like it to me, no one else is getting the opportunity to do anything. I never trust all this phone voting business, it’s such a heavily staged programme.
I quite like Joe Swash now, he reminds me a bit of Ian Wright that chappie who does Lonely Planet.
November 21, 2008 at 04:08 #190988I don’t trust the public phone votes on any of the reality shows, I love it when they say £1.00 per min landline considerably more mobile, how much more considerably is that? could be £100 for all i know.
I like Joe aswell, seems a genuine nice lad good to see.
Gaelic Warrior Gold Cup Winner 2026
November 27, 2008 at 04:30 #192501NO TO DVD.
He is only in their to wind up people and it was him who ruined Bucks Fizz aswell.
At the moment id say either Nicola,Joe or Timmy.
November 27, 2008 at 13:30 #192524I have to say, Simon Webbe comes across as a right arrogant individual, at times.
