Its nearly time, an absolute monster bet lined up today. Cover previous losses and a lot more.
This horse is Royal Ascot quality, better than Dansant, will win this race with some in hand.
Lets watch and find out I guess
Once again I place layed,
I have started doing so and rather well.
You are P Murphy.
No offence but I have always thought of you as one of the worst possible trainers out there so please excuse my ignorance if I ignore your opinions
Excuse me the horse did not hang. he may well ride for you reg, but that does not give you god given right to be correct in this instance.
The horse did not hang.
Yes I am pocket talking, I place layed so I am pocket talking,
I may have spelled incorrectly in previous post but you obviously can not read?
Clawback plus some starts today

Mr R Havlin,
Strange one there even by his standards…Yes not helped by the horse (an unruly type)
But can someone explain why he would move to the outside and then switch back to the inside when he had clear run?
The horse would never have won but why did he do this????
Personally Im delighted he did this as I place layed, Havlin is a classic imcompetant jockey, most over rated. Good jockey to lay.
I kindly ask though can somone explain why a jockey would switch a horse like that as when watching it surely makes no sense???
Excellent Rob,
Once again your wit and standard of quality contribution astonishes me,
What next from RobNorth….
Just another incident in an ever growing long list Im afraid.
Jockeys are ruining the sport.
Haha well Moore wasnt at his best, but in fairness I honestly think it was the muddling race pace which beat him..
Whilst I do get annoyed with jockeys those punters must realise they decided to back the horse, no on forced them.
You place your bet, you take your chance, simple as that.
Whilst Moores ride wasnt great I dont think it was brain dead like Mr Walsh yesterday. And this was the horses first run since November, this was a starting point today to hopefully a goood season for this horse.
Never bet what you cant afford to loose!!!
Ouch that hurts,
Bit of a joke of a race though when run like that,
For what its worth I felt he ran ok to finish 3rd in such a messy race, more pace in an Irish bumper, will back next time out!!
Great point Rob
Rob,
I think you maybe reading a different post.
Did I say that every other jockey bar the winner rode a bad race?
If I did I apologisr, could you kindly tell me where I said that though?
Thank you in advance
No im not perfect, I have made mistakes but I have learned from them
Not mistakes however of the blatant kind of some jockeys.
Ah now Mr Walsh lost the race there, you must admit that surely….
It happened today and it will happen again,
My point is (which I dont think I have explained very well) is not that mistakes dont happen, but when they do there is no form of action taken against jockeys, why would they care, sure nothing will happen to them and it will be forgotten about by the afternoon. Jockeys dont really have to care if they make mistakes..
Some of us may get sacked for mistakes of a similar nature in our respective jobs..
In relation to myself not doing reearch on courses/dates, I didnt feel neccesary as most people on here (although I pointed out wrong details) knew what I was talking about.I got the point across which was the main thing.
Not particualry, as you see I knew connections of the horse so therefore I was told horse/jockey/trainer, all were trying to win.
How is it ironic when I was told all would be trying and I had belief in all ability???
It would be ironic if I bet in a bumper without knowing this I agree as Bumpers are a minefield and should be avoided unless you have confidence…
Well in fairness how long ago was it, and once again is it my job to remember dates and courses no?
I am referring to incompatence with regard to peoples professions not past times
Irish bumpers are not great betting I agree, but I was told about a horse in the last so was putting my faith in my contact, it was a risky bet I agree as bumpers are an unknown.
The reason I am here is I enjoy watching quality racing, its just a shame jockeys mistakes are now so frequent and as such are taking away from our sport.
If anyone here can sit here and say Mr Walsh rode well in that last race well then I dunno what to say.
Lets just wait until the next mistake, its bound to happen again today.
If they ever bring out a system of banning jockeys/punishment for careless riding then I will start punting again seriously, but at the moment it seems like this game isnt about picking the best horse but rather picking the jockey with a brain, maybe thats where I go wrong haha.
Mr Walsh must be ashamed for connections today, unfortunately as with all horse racing stables in Ireland, this young lad is connected through his family and for that reason will pick up more mounts…
Its not a punters sport anymore, and Id go as far as saying its not a sport anymore when we see things like that. Just a shame
