Ginger, Reference from Mark Howard’s book "One Jump Ahead", He suffered a small hairline fracture in the race.
KF I guess thats the fascination of the game, one minute you see strong market confidence run like a drain, 10 minutes later same connections also with visor first time wins easy. No damage on the day.
KF At 10’s thought Taqleed was worth an interest with visor first time.
Morning all,
2.35 Captain John Nixon 1 point Win
3.45 Victoire de Lyphar 2 Win 1 Place
Edinburgh Knight 0.5 WinTotal profit on week 7.4 points
Reasonable weeks profit, regardless how today goes.
But Victory for Victoire would be sweet.Afternoon all, Although I’ve backed Kanaf at 33’s earlier in the week on terms of value, the 2 that meet the profile for the Stewards Cup(6 of last 8 winners + RU in other 2 races) are Edinburgh Knight and Victoire de Lyphar, I’ve backed both this morning but by far the biggest bet is on Victoire(450 Win and 150 E.W. at 16’s).
Although my view could be blown apart once the King of sprinters has spoken.Morning KF, your some judge of sprinters, look forward to your Stewards Cup view( I’ve currently backed Kanaf at 33’s and looking for positive comments on Victoire)
4.50 Law of the Range 1 Win
profit on week 11.9 points
Morning all, Sorry Joni going to oppose you with Shankardeh at respective prices. The form of her group 2 last out has a more solid look to it than Coco’s and has been boosted by Danedream in a Group 1 since. Plus the Aga Khan breeding is a big positive(as proven in the Galtres Stakes at Ebor meeting).
3.45 Shankardeh 1 Win, 1 Place
4.55 Sinfonico 0.5 Win, 0.5 Place
Thanks KF, In the first tomorrow I can,t see beyond front three in market, but with the weight pull and how well Stoute runners have gone this week, I’m on Labarinto for 2.5 point win.
Total on week +0.3
Elsewhere, looking at Terdaad 4.05 Nottingham and Mr Ramsey 4.30 Stratford.
correction -6 points on week
2.00 Seaside Sizzler 1 Win, 1 Place
3.45 Tanfeeth 1.5 Win
Whiplash Willie 0.5 WinTotal on week -4 points
KF I can only echo your comments last night, also out of form but will stick to a proven formula that works for me. This week at Goodwood, I generally outlay 20 points max in the class 2 handicaps and will be personally backing to £200 per point, I will record all bets at betfair SP, if not in profit I will gracefully stop posting on your excellant thread. Good luck to all.
2.00 Forte Dei Marmi 1.5 Win
Circumvent 0.5 WinTotal -2 points.
Evening King, I like the look of The Holyman in the 6.40 at Windsor, no idea how fit/ready he is but at 10/1 I’ll take a chance.
KF Keep plugging away, I can’t put a winner up on this thread, and then I see final nail in coffin for anti-post bet on Nathaniel, well worth having my VC account closed for, not. Again on Saturday e.w. finishes 4th and Stoutes filly goes less than 3 in running(thankfully laid off), but that still won’t stop me firing several arrows in next weeks Goodwood handicaps. In both races above is the reason why the likes of ourselves will see profit in the long run, by being prepared to take a calculated price risk. Anyone who took odds on in a class 2 all aged fillies handicap or 2/1 for a beaten handicapper 1 run back against group performers need help. Anyway lets look forward to plenty of good racing next week and remain positive.
KF. Good luck with those wise enough to take 4/1 on Sunday, unfortunately I didn,t. At current odds a race to enjoy.
With Goodwood next week just a couple of value shots for me today. 2.45 Newmarket with a run under her belt and 3 times the price of her victor, Ishbelle looks a good e.w. to me. At 3.05 York Elenora Duse, purely on trainer record when taking on colts with a filly. Hopefully George Margarson with have a change of fortune with either of his Guests.KF Firstly felt you deserved better with Seville in the week, to beat 2 derby winners and still not collect, unlucky.
Intended(and may still do so) going for bet on Give Your Verdict today, looks a typical Stoute 4yo improver, but respect the early money and yourself going for Bahceli.
I Dont get involved with 2yo races and cannot match your loyalty with Regal Parade.KF, This morning I did,t have a view either way about the race,(though noticed Ladcrooks were lowest), taking 3/1 in a trappy Group 1 doesn,t appeal. Though on a value point of view at mid afternoon 6/1 against TB at less than half those odds for 3/4 length was worth a little interest. Hope I,m not becoming a Jonah for you, as since I,ve started posting your success has temporary halted.
KF Has this Seville lost a leg in the journey over, 7.2 on betfair. Do you have confidence to go in again or do you fear the worse.
