Hi Everybody

I spent part of my last week of my last job in Kernow and for its quirks, it has a small place of my heart. For town names, Kernow wins hands down with belters like No Mans Land, Hell (Heyl), Portlooe and Shop. I also loved the little anarchy emblems dotted around Falmouth of all places and the scenery throughout the darling nation is wonderful.

I also spent a night in a Sittingbourne local (London-ish) and though the locals weren’t really into their football – most of them were happy to see a lad fromt’nurf.

    Hi Razeen
I , and many others, quite like dumps and sh!tholes.

    Hi Martin
When I first saw the Dome, I asked myself where the rest of it was. A pathetic waste of money for art. Same applies to that godawful spikey thing outside of my beloved Man City’s home. we can still go back to Maine Road!

I’ve been sat around the house for half a day and I already feel like I need to get out more.

That said – SOAD return to Manchester next month and I already have my ticket so that should keep me sane for a while.

Should have called it the irony list then.

Surely Ian, what part of that sentance did you have to edit? I’m sure this edit thingy is just a cute gimmick

    Hi Zome

Sorry for not using you on my love list examples – honestly, it just slipped my mind.

I sometimes wish that I wouldn’t let myself post threads after smoking happy herbs but I guess I’ve made my bed and I have to sleep in it.

    Hi Everybody

    Brilliant thread

I won’t have the opportunity to get up there (though where there is a will, there’s a way) and I beg of my good friend (friends if GH still likes me) up north to make as big a fuss as possible.

I wonder what, if anything will get sorted out in Gleneagles. My money’s on nothing in interests of the worlds vast majority.

Just a little relevantish statement –

On the Eleventh of September 2001, 3000 westerners were killed in the worst terrorist attack the west had ever been bothered by (because we don’t see the attacks commited by America on 21 countries since WW2 as terrorist – none of the countries emerging with stable, democratic rule)

On the Eleventh of September 2001 – 420,000 children died of starvation which could easily been prevented had the West

    a) Not imposed global policys which favour fat wallets
b) Used the gargantuan wealth garnered from exploitation of the non rich to help people other than themselves for a change.

I can understand the criminal record and crackhead bits to a degree – I say a degree because you didn’t specify what crime she commited and many tories use the term ‘crackhead’ when they mean user drugs of any nature. However, what does the womans physical ability, colour and sexual orientation have to do with anything?

    Hi everybody

This morning I was drinking with a bunch of hardcore shareholders united head the balls and ended up waking in the shadows of Old Trafford. Even there, they enjoyed the company of a propoh manc. Nice one to whoever voted for us.

    Hi Colin
I once had to deliver a dock off wallsite to a corner shop bang in the centre of Cardiff on St Davids day. Such a pain in the arse. I still reckon that the Welsh accent is sexy and you guys have a pretty cool ”po-mo British gen x scene” I even met Dirty Sanchez’s Lee Dainton whilst he was working in a skate shop. Wales is allright.

    Hi Steve
From what I learned from you – I shouldn’t ever go for a weegie bird. Which leaves nowt else going for bonnie Scotland. That and it’s pretty unnerving being called a Protestant English Bastah whenever I go out there (even though I wasn’t christened). Biffy Clyro are a good band though – as a matter of fact, I’m listening to Convex, Concave right now.

    Hi DJ
For my record, I’ve added another vote for manchester under your name. Cheers;)

    Hi Ian
From what I’ve seen, London’s s**t
I’m afraid. Brighton has a very good veggie restaurant though I prefer greasy spoons, the only cinema I’d go to is the Cornerhouse in Manchester and life itself is a theatre. Maybe for the capitalist but I can survive without London. I prefer Southend as a matter of fact. I’ve passed through Basingstoke a few times but haven’t yet had the honour of gracing your new hometown (traitor!!!!). When I do and I see you I promise to say hi – I’m sure you get thousands of well wishers saying hi to you every waking second but just so you know – I’m the shaved headed (just like my hero) sexpot who looks like a studenty vegan drug addict.

    Hi GH my old mucker

I haven’t got the law I wanted. Regarding your father in law, he was a noble man in making a sacrifice for the greater good in saving both the lives of other animals and the lifelihoods of their owners.

My beef isn’t with the individuals themselves since nobody walking the earth is perfect and I dislike holding personal grudges. I am however, strongly opposed to the repulsive act of chasing a natural fox for miles. If our furry friend is lucky, he will get away after a purposeless scaring of a lifetime instigated by humans who should grow up. If he is unlucky, he dies an untimely and unnatural death.

I dislike any form of justification for this outdated act and it just so happens that the Countryside Alliance are a prominant instigator of this.

    Hi insomniac

I checked the word tolerance and it turns out that I can’t tolerate the action of hunting. If this is a freedom of choice statement then I want the freedom to choose to do many things that these pro-hunt douches wouldn’t be able to tolerate.

    Hi everybody

Over the last couple of months, I’ve had the opportunity to see near enough every nook and cranny that these lands have to offer including the great nation of Cornwall – power to Mebyon Kernow!!! Whilst on these travels, I witnesses some radical pro hunting propoganda which I wouldn’t normally find in built up areas / cities (where hunting is equally popular according to the CA). For those who live in the areas who don’t get out much… THEY ARE LYING TO YOU!!!

First off is the ‘Fight Prejudice Fight The Ban’ joke.

For those people who live in CA areas, I’m sure that you understand the English language fairly well. But just in case you don’t, here is a definition of the word Prejudice.

    prej·u·dice s)
n.

An adverse judgment or opinion formed beforehand or without knowledge or examination of the facts.

    A preconceived preference or idea.

The act or state of holding unreasonable preconceived judgments or convictions.

Irrational suspicion or hatred of a particular group, race, or religion.

Detriment or injury caused to a person by the preconceived, unfavorable conviction of another or others.

    tr.v. prej·u·diced, prej·u·dic·ing, prej·u·dic·es

To cause (someone) to judge prematurely and irrationally.

To affect injuriously or detrimentally by a judgment or an act

You see, a few examples of prejudice in action would be

Racial discrimination in Ireland. e.g. The passing of the Statutes of Kilkenny (1366) which listed the "obedient" (English controlled) lands of Carlow, Dublin, Kildare, Kilkenny, Louth, Tipperary, Meath, Trim, Waterford and Wexford where intermarriage with the Irish was forbidden. Those outside the obedient lands were regarded as enemies. Or that in the blatantly inconsiderate Scramble for Africa (commited by Britain, France, Portugal, Belguim, Spain, Germany and Italy between 1880 – 1900). When ‘dissolved’ between 1962 and 1980, the new borders didn’t reflect the natural or ethnic boundaries of the African people. Inevitably, countries like Congo, Etheopia, Nigeria and many others are in the s**t
.

Sexual discrimination suffered by women who weren’t allowed to vote before 1890 in Wyoming USA (1920 throughout USA) 1918 in the UK (although women under the age of 30 still couldn’t vote – you can file that under prejudice against younger people) 1919 in Germany 1944 France and so forth.

The term prejudice can also extend to cover those that suffer on the basis of disability, religion, sexual orientation and age. However, by definition, it isn’t extended to those who want to kill for fun. (get a job in pest control if it’s your true calling)

The opinion formed against the act hunting (and not a personal attack against those that hunt – although huntsmen take it on themselves to assault sabs just because they like animals) is one which consents to knowledge and examination of facts.

‘Never underestimate the power of a minority’ – Winston Curchill

I’m sure they teach maths in CA terratories but just in case, 59% is NOT a minority.

Finally, the banner featuring a picture of a woman dressed in hunting getup and a picture of the same woman dressed as a nurse. The slogan reads ‘here they hate her – now they need her’

What a pathetic attempt to gain sympathy for pro hunters.

The relevancy is totally non-parralel. Correct me if I’m wrong but wasn’t Harold Shipman a doctor? And on the flipside, he also lived in my hometown of Mottram. Hitler himself was a homosexual vegetarian.

From an enviramentalist point of view, I call on the CA and other prohuntganda merchants to stop wasting our valuable trees and resources on this claptrap because you are not helping yourselfs.

    Hi everybody

The only positive I can draw from this is that he won’t be around for too long.

Right wing morality is no morality and I pity anybody who absords this evil mans words as gospel. Religion’s were the first political parties created by man. Very little has changed in the structure of society.

‘Homosexuality is an intrinsic moral evil. Gays human rights can be legitimately limited’

    ….and millions worldwide believe him.

Of those 16 people who voted pro hunting – why haven’t any of you people offered any answers to the questions I posted last month?

    Hi everybody

I have decided to call off tomorrows visit to Uttoxeter since the Midlands National isn’t until after the Cheltenham festival. It wouldn’t have been a very productive day out.

What about castration? Do humans really have the god given right to decide which animals to nurture and which ones to slaughter?

Swindon is a pretty dire place though I did meet one or two nice people there.

But then again, Swindon is a pretty depressing town.

    Hi everybody

I see lots of places in my job and Norfolk was one of them this week.

Most of the places to go to are nice and so is Norfolk. However, the Norfolk folk I met were up themselves, especially the shop owner in Cawlston (hick village 10 miles from Norwich) and it’s a shame that I’ve had to give the place a nomination for s**t
    test town in Britain.

In the spirit of opportunity, where else deserves a mention for being a s**t
    town?

    Hi GH

I was in Glasgow last week and tried to chat this girl up. I told her she had a very sexy accent and asked if it was Glaswegian. It didn’t work.

I’m going to have the countryside alliance scribed on my top somewhere. It’s a direct assault on those particular b*****d
    s.

Oh yeah, if anybody wants to argue with me to my face or have a nice empathetic conversation with me (both suit me fine), then meet me at Uttoxeter next Saturday.

I’ll be the one wearing the "Support our proud 300 year tradition of brutal murder" shirt.
