UDS is going to be my big festival regret. Ive talked the talk what he would do and haven’t backed it enough with my money. Awesome performance today.
will be a great race next sunday un de sceaux v clarcam v Gilgamboa.
I think the Mullins plans will become a lot clearer after this. Win this and un de sceaux heads to the arkle an even money shot. I hope he romps it.
Sprinter Sacre travelled and jumped in great style and was beaten only 3 lengths. If the same race was run again in 4 weeks DB would not see which way SS went. After over a year’s absence this was a brilliant run and he can only improve from this run, all the ability is still there.
This. Keep the faith and fill the boots ante post lads and you will be rewarded. As Alan Lee said on the sunday forum this morning "I think we are going to look back in March and realise Sprinter Sacre at 3/1 was one of the bets of all time."
Pretty obvious who I am going to choose for the champion chase. I have NOT lost the faith
I’d have been disappointed if you deserted him
No Chance

Sprinter Sacre 2pt win 3/1 – should have posted yesterdays when the 4s were briefly available! (3/1 various -betvictor)
Utter Nonsense, He should have won last year. He has the speed. I remember him looking sluggish in Jan two years ago when beaten by Fishers Cross. He then murdered the over hyped Pont Alexandre. He’ll be in top three.
was Pont Alexandre not found to have an issue after the race and hasn’t raced since?

Some more postive vibes.
Henderson said: "Barry flew in this morning and went to Ascot and he was pleasantly surprised as there was plenty of good to soft in the ground and we would have run today".

Sprinter inches nearer to weekend return at Ascot
BY ANDREW KING 3:16PM 14 JAN 2015
NICKY HENDERSON is increasingly confident Sprinter Sacre will be able to run in the Sodexo Clarence House Chase at Ascot on Saturday after stable jockey Barry Geraghty walked the course on Wednesday.
However, despite Henderson speaking more positively about Sprinter Sacre, the nine-year-old has drifted out to 2-1 (from 6-4) with Betfred and been replaced as favourite by Dodging Bullets.
Doubts had surfaced about the suitability of the going at Ascot for Sprinter Sacre with Henderson unwilling to run the 2013 Queen Mother Champion Chase winner on testing going after an absence of over a year.
But speaking at Newbury on Wednesday afternoon, Henderson said: "Barry flew in this morning and went to Ascot and he was pleasantly surprised as there was plenty of good to soft in the ground and we would have run today".
The trainer is due to walk the Berkshire circuit himself on Thursday morning and said: "The forecast for this evening is not great by any means. I might go there tomorrow and not like what I see if we get plenty of rain overnight
"However, if we get three days of drying weather it might get back to what Barry found this morning so we will be declaring him [on Thursday] to run as I think I have got to.
"We are desperate to get a race into him as it’s Ascot, Newbury or nowhere before Cheltenham."
A final decision on whether Sprinter Sacre returns at Ascot on Saturday could be left until the day of the race Henderson added. What was peoples thoughts on josses hill’s arkle trial today?.I thought jumped sketchy stayed on well as he always does!…i can see JH staying on well in the arkle and getting placed but think he could get too far behind!.
I think if Un de sceaux goes for this and sets off at the clip that he does I can see JH jumping coming under serious pressure.
Anyone taken double figures on Douvan must be happy with that run yesterday. The horse oozes class and that was the race Vautour won last year so he’s in good company. Ruby said beforehand that he is flexible regards trip so they have the option of other races which has put me off the 3’s. If he was guaranteed to be running in the Supreme however the 3’s would look nice enough.
I think hes a nigh on certainty for the supreme – the yard never like to say with certainty but i’d be shocked if this is not their supreme no1. Same route as vautour indicates this also.
Didn’t beat a lot yesterday (a few stayers as ruby said) but he beat the opposition as you would expect him to beat them. On the bridle without ruby flinching.Boston bob for me also 20/1 (widely available Ladbrokes, stan james) 1pt ew
Waiting with a nervous anticipation..
Of course they can KSS……welcome aboard, and good luck. I’ve stuck you down for 5-4.
Thank you
Can anyone join?
If so I’ll have Faugheen win please 2pts
I watched the race myself and said to my da Russell must be sitting on a machine as h didn’t seem one bit worried until very late on.
No need for an enquiry at all – A) he misjudged what he was sitting on or B) the horse didn’t just pick up as he expected on the ground. Jockeys get it wrong sometimes.
Unbelievable – Paul nicholls was visibly very unhappy about it. How they can jump the fences and not the hurdles is baffling.
On another note – what happened to Kalitmantan in the last? Had that race in the bag and something went wrong – veered right and jockey seemed to lose the reigns a few yards from the line. Cost me a very nice treble. That’s the game I suppose
That was shocking from Bobs worth.
Fair play to connections to road to riches – turning out to be a good one he is.
Truly awesome performance.
Cant see how any of the others beat him at Cheltenham.
