Deny yourself nothing, life is too short;)
Any "Rebus" book by Ian Rankin, especialy The Falls and Black and Blue.
Hagler v Hearns. Definately the best.
Must be that an orange glare’s affecting Jim’s perception. Or maybe he missed a falling baton and it knocked a little more sense out of him!
Sash, Jim-Sash!!!!
My first horse racing memory, at the July meeting 1953, was seeing Prince Monolulu in all his finery. Ostrich feathers on his head and scuffed loafers on his feet. Not so much shock and awe, more like gobsmacked. I can’t remember anything about the Races though. Have since read his biography and thouroughly enjoyed it.

"Blue blue windows behind the stars, yellow moon on the rise"
Cliquey? The TRF? Never! Just read the last eight pages of self congratulatory crap and make your own mind up. All, apart from a few honourable exceptions, are naive, self-opinionated, pedantic anoraks who take themselves far too seriously.
"Look at Mother Nature on the run in the 1970’s"
I’m afraid I’m one of the legions who are of the opinion that Rooster Booster is no better than a high class handicapper that was fortunate to be at his best in a sub standard Champion Hurdle that was padded up with Novices and fading lights. He will not see the road the Cowboy takes in 2004!;)
