Genius!!
The New One will place, as will Jezki, it’s just a question of where Faugheen places…..1st, 2nd or 3rd…..there really isn’t any reason to look beyond any other result than these three horses filling the first three places. Nothing can come out of the woodwork to alter the simple outcome of this race. Can’t call the winner, but I’m "really putting my neck out" and saying this is the combo tricast! Can anyone else see anything else having a say?
Top Cees hacking up in his first chester cup after clearly being held back by Fallon a few weeks previously at Newmarket. How it was allowed to run after clearly being plotted up is beyond me.
I think after looking at the video again of last year’s race, Jezki is being massively overlooked again for this year’s race.
I agree the fall of Our Conor hindered The New One, but he cruised back into contention and then got outpaced when they kicked for home. He stayed on through beaten horses, but the front two had already flown. Maybe if he has a clear round he will get a bit closer, but when they kick can he go with them? He couldn’t beat the hard pulling My Tent Or Yours at Kempton for whatever reason, and MTOY failed to reel in Jezki in the big race. Yes he pulled too hard and that probably cost him the race, but has anyone noticed how hard Jezki was pulling for a fair way and still won? I’m not going to crab AP, but if they let Geraghty keep the ride I think he will give Faugheen plenty to think about and confirm the form with the New One.
Cannot see him out of the first two on evidence so far.January 19, 2015 at 10:12 in reply to: Select 3 Horses to win on Saturday 17th January UPDATED #502098Yeah I’m over it now, he’s a funny fella that God bloke!
There’s always next week…January 19, 2015 at 09:08 in reply to: Select 3 Horses to win on Saturday 17th January UPDATED #502089Bit late in the day and am still reeling after having family commitments and my phone being on the blink. Couldn’t post on here or get my bets on which adds fuel to the fire….
Samstown would have been my nap with Rebel Rebellion and Bitofapuzzle my Saturday Trixie….gutted is the only way to put it!
How’s your luck!I hope as everybody else does, he’s ready to do himself justice, and would welcome one of the best we’ve seen back to the race track.
But…he should be pushed hard in the closing stages as should any horse in any race under rules. Just because he’s the highest rated horse in racing shouldn’t make him exempt from "public schooling" offences. If he’s ready to race there shouldn’t be none of this "looking after him" malarkey. If he’s not ready for a racecourse, keep him at home.
Let’s just hope he sluices up!Sadly Andy Stewart is sending Saphir du Reu to the world hurdle after falling 2 out if 3 times over fences…

Zarkandar – 2.25 Asc – ResWhat game are Henderson and Morlock playing?
After Henderson saying he wouldn’t run Simonsig without a prep race and that he wouldn’t run him over 3 miles on his return from a year off, Morlock comes out of the woodwork and says there’s a good chance he could still run and that they are doing everything they can to get him there. A few days later Henderson reverts back to what he originally said and that it was unlikely as I wouldn’t want to run him over 3 miles first time up in a King George.
Now I know I’ve done my money ante post (more fool me) but can anyone explain to me why there is such a conflict of opinion between the trainer and assistant trainer?? One says (the trainer) it’s highly unlikely it will run, and the other (assistant trainer) says we’re doing everything we can to ensure he does run??? Why not just say he won’t run without a prep race, that’s the end of it, instead of misleading the public….or will they do a Binocular again??? Or does the left hand not know what the right hand is doing? It’s all very strange or all very unnecessary….just an opinion….December 12, 2014 at 14:53 in reply to: Select 3 horses to win on Saturday 13th December (Week 8) #498208Karinga Dancer – 1.25 Chel – Nap

I’d say it’s more a case of the yard not firing he doesn’t want his superstars beaten…
Some boy indeed….he’s more of a nightmare for ante post punters than Mullins.
He tells you how well they are, what their targets are, then last minute, no sorry, not quite ready. Really going off the guy! - AuthorPosts
