December 20, 2014 at 21:27 #499110Fantastic from Nenni, I reckon he scored the record for the highest priced Nap this weekend and I scored the record for the lowest priced Nap would of made a great double that……

Oh yes that’s a record for the TRF compy
Well done Nenni for getting the Christmas No. 1
Go Strut your stuff
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qdfaQTbM-0EUpdate tomorrow with our new leader.
Good effort Rummy .. still a way to go so anything can happen.
It was on this competition on the final day of the Grand National when it was on Yahoo, a few years back now, when a poster called Tommytwocans selected a horse called Mon Mome who dotted up at 100/1 a won him the competition…never say never

I’m sure you were groaning when Bayan scored on Saturday.

As it’s Christmas I don’t think anyone will mind if we allow
your post even though it was almost 15 minutes late all your choices were in time..
fantastic NAP Bayan 14/1 although not as good as Nenni this week and his 33/1 Nap Blackandambervic at Fairyhouse. Please, please try to be on time next week as there’s another 51 weeks to the next Christmas.

Jac
Harvey2000
Sorry Harvey your post was over an hour late and did not count, but the good news is you didn’t have any winners so please post earlier next time..many thanks and have a good Christmas..Jac

I was wondering how you would treat the two late comers
I think overall a fair and respectable way.
Nenni an inspired choice, not only to select it, but to make Blackandambervic your nap. Watching it on Racing Post website, it always travelled well and won with some authority. However the was no previous indication of this type of form from it before, and surprised nobody pick up on this in the main horse racing section.Anyway well done Nenni for having either the foresight, or luck
, to nap Blackandambervic.I make it 10 of us this weekend sharing 7 different winners amongst us.
In the order of posting, I move off 52 points with a 5/1 winner Broadway Buffalo, onto 57 points.
Dfward also picked Broadway Buffalo but Dfward decided to nap it, plus Whispering Harry (11/2) to get 15.5 points from the pair.
Triptych found yet another winner with The Young Master a 3/1 shot.
Nathan Hughes moves on with Un De Screaux a 1/5 winner which was also napped. He earns another point.
Homersimpsons also found Whispering Harry mentioned earlier and adds 5.5 points to his score.
Nenni found the biggest winner in this competition since moving to TRF and had the foresight to nap it as well. A massive 66 points is added to Nenni and has become our new leader. Nenni I will be trying to regain the lead.

Both Steves found winners too. Steve 75 had the Closing Ceremeny a 2/1 winner which was doubled because he napped it, and Trip’s winner The Young Master to earn another 7 points.
While Steveh 31 had the popular Whispering Harry so gets 5.5 points added to his score.
Over2u likewise had Whispering Harry but doubled the points because he napped it. So 11 points added.
Finally Jason1888 was a little late but Trip had said that the points from Bayan a 14/1 winner was good. Not only that but because it was napped it becomes 28 points.
Nobody won Nathan’s starmix prize so keep trying for that, and as Trip pointed out with Mon Mome win when Des held this on Yahoo, it’s not over until it’s over.

Jac

I had worked out the scores last night but was too tired to post the update after wrapping up all my family and friends presents, so your scoring is a great help..have a very happy Christmas xThings turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...December 22, 2014 at 15:47 #499244Triptych, I made a small error with the date on the table on my last post , should have read 20/12/2014 & not 13/12/2014 otherwise it’s correct. However in your opening post you mention a Wolverhampton meeting beginning at 4pm was it cancelled or was that too a mistake.
December 22, 2014 at 15:56 #499245Yes , looking back Wolverhampton was a non runner on Saturday 20th, I think I originally looked at Friday 19th by mistake.
Anyway just posting the update now and thanks again.
