More bleeding squatters.
My early season fancy for this race was
Tajneed
, after the boss said that he wouldn’t bother with races like the Wokingham on fast ground because he didn’t want to deprive another horse/trainer of the chance. Bleeding embarrassed me last weekend from wrong end of draw with Led, Made All, QUICKENED, Stayed on STRONGLY. 7lbs raise in circumstances seems fair. I think a few horses have won this in the 100s?
I was wrong-footed by this race last year, when my early season fancy was Regal Parade. Didn’t have a bet on him in the Vernons. Erm, as no one else has mentioned Tajneed on this thread, does that mean that he is going for the Vernons as well?

Just done a scant check, and the only addition for the 2000 Guineas I came across was that Tate Gallery won the National Stakes (Ire).
Meiner Kitz came 7th in the 10f G2 Sapporo Kinen.

edit. This site is getting intolerable. It is constantly taking me 5 minutes to post or edit.

Result doesn’t seem to work. Can access the video and result from this page:-
Never done this before.
One can watch the Arlington Million, etc here. Seems to be a camera aimed at a screen with the piccies.
Thanks, IC. You’re my favourite lurker.

I can’t use the conspiracy theory of selective watering, as that would have been done in previous years as well.

K already done a list for Goldikova. Someone was interested in seeing the Sea The Stars one.
The 5th Earl Of Carlisle was a Fred Howard, and as he was a Russophile, I thought he might have had something to do with the Cesarewitch.
All this Mayor of London stuff seems to be a red herring.
If the Fred Howard we are referring to was involved in the founding of bunny chasing in this country, I’d have thought there would be a great need for photofinish strips.
it appears un-googlable too)
Is that a challenge?
Yes, I used to have cats, and also make catlike sounds. Thought the picture reflected part of my character, with the eyes staring out in wonder, but nowadays I’m not interested in anything, so I suppose it is no longer appropriate.
Your horse has a half-brother, For Dylan.
He won a Point-to-Point race earlier this year.
This is Academy Jane’s race record.

Ignore the 1st January birthdate – the RP just do that when they don’t know the date.
Race record for Needle Gun:-

Needle Gun was famous for being the best maiden in training at the time. It took him two years to win his first race, but he kept running in topclass races during that time, rather than having his sights lowered for an easy win.
Rebel Raider was 100/1 when winning the Victoria Derby in 2008.
August 21, 2010 at 06:45 in reply to: How Will Racing Benefit from running The Ebor on a Saturday? #313959To be honest, the racing is fairly dire today, for a Saturday.
Well, that was a big-priced winner missed.

I must admit that usually I don’t notice the jockeys, so I am rather nonplussed by constant threads about such-and-such a jockey riding a bad race.
I have a similar attitude to cars, in that I just regard them as a metal box, and I forget that someone is driving them, and I don’t notice them through the windscreen as I don’t look there, and I’m concentrating on the front bumper, checking that it won’t go into me as I cross the road.
I suppose one of the problems with Cooldine is that there don’t seem to be many Irish horses that come over for the King George, what with the Lexus at Leopardstown. Is there any indication that he would come over?
