NV,

You part of the Quantica plunge today!?!?

    Agree might need softer ground!

Writing this before the race, have not backed it, though wouldn’t be laying it, despite the ground!!!
Not sure what has happened to Saggers, top wicket taker with me last season. Guess he must be injured!!

Yeah, plenty of new blood, and that Symonds bloke looks quite useful in the Twenty20 comp!!:o :o

    Glad i’m sitting that out!!!!

Sorry for anyone who took my advice and took the 12/1 bout Glamorgan for the C&G!! In this current debate climate of non triers, as you can see as we (Derbyshire) beat them, that i was def trying!!!!!!:o

Hats off to the Cat who beat me!!

But cant help but think if Brett Lee had bowled his full 10 overs in the final, instead of 7, especially at the Indian tail, then think he would have taken at least one more wicket!!

    But it wasn’t to be.

Hope i can do beter for you in the county cricket preview i’ll do ya all!!!!

Hang on a minute……. Kiwi skipper has smashed a few runs!!!!

Wonder who has got the 85.0 about him being top runscorer in the world cup with Betfair!!!??

Shoaib Akhtar got 4 wickets also today!!

However my tip on S.A. not looking as clever now as the bowling isn’t loking as strong as in recent times.

You would not believe what we can and can’t take with regards to what is on the banned substance list. For example if you’ve got a cold or flu you cant even take a Lemsip or Beechams, let alone anything stronger!!

    Anyway back to the cricket….

Big blow for SA losing Rhodes though this could be offset by Aussies losing Warne.

Good luck with all ya bets gang!

    Cheers Gang!!!

Will try to mark your cards for the upcoming domestic cricket season!! Your reply’s are greatly appreciated!!!

Cheers taxman for sending my piece to RP, will do it myself too!! Also s**g sheep and proud of it! Baa!!!

Ok, not the best start by SA, but don’t lose faith they will still qualify and might be a better price now, though doubt it will be anything over 3’s. Not checked betfair yet so don’t know. Only just got back from Pompey after watching the super Rams… erm the less said about that the better though!!!

Back to proper sport, was a great first game eh!! Hoipe it rasies the profile of the game in this country by plenty of close matches like that and our boys doing well!!

PR, You think they are bad – check out the truly dreadful Miriam Francome on the Racing Channel.
[/quote]

Those two words sum her up perfectly, indeed truly dreadful.

Luke Harvey is good value on the Racing Channel, although a lot of talk recently has been about going out and getting p****d, thought he was in training for the Marathon.

Robert Cooper quality, but he is one of those you love or hate.

Alex Hammond, god Inane drivel is all she speaks. "Will come on for the run" "Will win again" "Good jockey" "Rides well" Pick any of the above sentences per race for her. Looks ok tho.

Richard Pitman, for someone who surely must know so much he again talks cr*p, same for Willie Carson but worse.

Jim McGrath and John Francome both class on C4, Mike Cattermole and Simon Holt not far behind, the rest are in it for their own publicity.

Oh, nearly forgot Saturday morning regluar on Racing News, Claude Duval ,the punter’s freind, do me a favour then and tip some winners, not just those trainers horses who you have had lunch/dinner with that week.

    Jim,

    How true, how true.

But that is the attraction of NH. It is definately easier to make money on the flat, but I just love the jumps!

    NATIONAL HUNT

Has to be NH reason being there is nothing like the roar of the crowd when a well backed horse jumps to the front at the last. The same feeling when approaching the final furlong just isn’t there for me on the flat.

If, punter, as you are suggesting someone has laid the horse on Betfair, then they must have a lot of available funds to get into thier BF account. 30K just lying around.?

I think you are right in your theory though, with the Betfair site this will be alot easier to do, especialy if someone has got a hot fav on a Sat in a race that is only worth 3K.

You obviously have got your eye on the situation, watching the ammount taken on the horse and as more and more was taken your suspicions were aroused.

If you see any more like this then post em up so we can all get on the the trying outsiders!!;) ;)
