Looks more likely that benefficient is gonna run in the ryanair then the champ chase, which is a shame would love him to run in this!

I had him backed a while back at NRNB and could probably get this advanced by Bet365 so I can put it on Morning Assembly who I want backed, but after reading the trainer comments about this still being ground dependant how much change is there of him still running here do we think? Could just let the bet ride and see what happens but I’ll be a bit annoyed if MA’s price falls and he wins as I won’t be able to get anything on him until nearer the time.

In other news, I’ve just realised I think I’m against the majority of my picks on here

A popular strategy Danny, if the bets are down, at least you have the consolation of doing well in this "highly prestigious" competition. This is more important than money :|

Strangely enough I don’t think the other half would be consoled with my forum prestige, she needs payment in shoes :(

Purely out of curiosity, I think I will on the opening morning pick the selections for all of these races and keep them to one side. I wonder the advantage of a late entry with extra information, versus the early bird who got nice prices (mainly) and some non runners. New levels of boredom.

Over the moon to see her declared here, I had £100 on NRNB at avg odds 5.5 back in January when starting this thread. Not the biggest of banks here so its my biggest possible payout of the festival, just ahead of £16 EW on Last Installment @ 50/1

Anybody think the bookies may take BB on later in the week with some specials? Might lay a little off if thats the case.

Gutted that Bene hasn’t gone QMCC, had him at 10/1 on here and 10/1 NRNB for real too. Not the end of the world with stake back but I fancied a run at that price!

In other news, I’ve just realised I think I’m against the majority of my picks on here

I’ve stuck you down for win, rather than ew Danny?

Sorry, that would be correct :D

Is the Triumph pick the final race?

Danny, Zamdy Man doesn’t have any entries, so it looks good for a re-selction for you and Stones…….I’ll get my people on to it :D

As for next race, we’ve still got Neptune and Triumph to go, I think it’ll be The Neptune next, but I’ll confirm over the weekend.

Ok well if I can I’ll take Western Boy E/W @ 16/1 various

This is the risk we take with the AP market, there is no complaints when we enjoy an inflated price after picking a race for a horse that it subsequently runs in.

Regarding Zamdy Man, I was devastated to notice it pulled out very soon after I picked it but hadn’t thought about any rules around a reselection. Will wait for news

    What race is next?

    Sorry for the delay

Already have AP and CF at their end of 2013 prices for the respective races, but with those prices gone now and for the point of this competition here are my efforts!

QMCC – Benefficient EW @ 10/1 Ladbrokes NRNB
    Arkle – Valdez @ 12/1 Skybet
World – Rule The World EW @ 11/1 Skybet NRNB

Cue Card not entered, surely for the small price of the entry it would have been worth keeping options open for Sprinter Sacre not showing up?

I’m afraid to say this highlights the limitations within the Tizzard operation.

I had £50 on NRNB @ 4s with B365. Much better backup than the Ryanair which is already run and at a fraction of the prize pot/prestige. Can’t understand this at all.

Needless to say I’ve been onto B365 and got them to refund me early to take my money elsewhere

    Gold Cup

    Silv Conti @ 4.5

    (Bet365 Best Odd Guaranteed)

I think SC would benefit from CC turning up here so I hope CC isn’t tempted by the QMCC in the event of a missing Sprinter Sacre. Although the run at Haydock is being generally disregarded for Bobs Worth as an anomally and I agree to an extent, the presence of CC and the pace he will set can only be an advantage for SC in my opinion, with the possibility of BW not travelling as well in the middle stages and becoming disjointed as at Haydock. It would then come down to how well SC times the burst, taking the sting from CC while leaving enough in the tank to outstay the other oncomers.

SC can take great encouragement from figuring CC in the King George and I think CC still doesn’t get the trip here.
