Can anybody shed some light into African Gold’s price?

I know Solwhit has the form versus the majority of this field and is a worthy fav and Grand Crus short returning price will be pushing African Gold upwards, but should he really be going off at 10/1 which some bookies have him?

I was going to place a fairly modest £50 on him to place at 2.8 this morning, but noticed it had drifted to 3.1 when i woke up so have delayed for now.
