I’ve always enjoyed his presenting , I hope he has a long and happy retirement .He’s only stopping commentating, not other presenter type duties.

I’m not sure how knowledgeable/volunteer the flag wavers are, but it feel likes they perhaps don’t realise that waiving then at the problem site isn’t sufficient they need to be moving further back. One of the jockeys commented that it helped that the starter had moved up the track to wave his flag.
If he was the best ever, they should have given him a dirt season asa 4 year old to prove it.

A lot of the press around it has been embarrassing too, he’s so eloquent and completely right – racing post, Nick luck podcast – for fear of him not talking to them. Sporting life podcast more honest.
I’d give it back. The implication in the racing post is perhaps a bit of social engineering/trickery employed by asking for wrong amount..
Apparently he didn’t stop riding now. it’s the cameras fault it looks that way and it’s the cameras fault it’s a dead heat.
