I was torn between Almaqam and Map Of Stars but have plumped for the latter only at 11/2. Been crying out for this trip, hopefully finds a new level.
Souple (Flexible) on France-Galop. Drying day today and high of 29 degrees tomorrow so perfect ground expected.
Small bet on Sahlan at 20/1, winner of a group 3 last time, nice turn of foot.I’m going to give Lazzat a chance to redeem himself, if that’s even the case as still ran a fine race last time.
Trainer said he was too fresh that day after 50 days off so should strip fitter for this. 5/2 is very reasonable.I like the Jardine angle with Paddy The Squire looking to emulate Sepoy in 2017 with wins at Thirsk then Hamilton and now here. Has to prove 1m6f is in range but they seem to be confident as they are looking at future Ebor and Melbourne Cup targets.

American Gal 12/1
Last two efforts over a mile are a close 2nd in a group 3 and a listed win which were sandwiched in between a go at 10+ furlongs in the French Oaks. Bit overpriced I’d say.
Yea there wasn’t much noise around about it but AOB confirmed mid-late July he had a setback and probably wouldn’t be seen again this year so recent update is slightly more encouraging.
This was from yesterday Nath. Could only find on x/twitter and not on racing tv itself.
Was going to start a Moyglare thread but I haven’t had an ante post bet just wanted to mention that Venetian Sun right this minute is 5/2 on oh wait, now 2/1, soon to go lower, maybe should have taken a hit of that 5/2, oh well.
Best thing about her is temperament, barely looked like she’d had a race afterward. Top filly.August 23, 2025 at 14:12 in reply to: Select 3 Horses to Win – Saturday 12th April, to Saturday 18th October 2025 #1738719Soz bit late.

(Simpsons x2)I’ve backed too many horses this year 2nd start jumping to group/class 2 level that have run like drains. I blame them all for not allowing me to back Lifeplan. I hate my brain sometimes. Stupid brain.
