I’ve backed too many horses this year 2nd start jumping to group/class 2 level that have run like drains. I blame them all for not allowing me to back Lifeplan. I hate my brain sometimes. Stupid brain.
Bollox, gamblers regret
I almost backed Egoli straight after Ed Chamberlain noted that Song Of The Clyde finished behind him beforehand. Wasn’t too enthused by his Goodwood effort though.
I hope the Dec Carroll horse runs well though.
I never get Arizona Blaze right, wins when I’m not on, runs a stinker when I am.
Apologies to those on him today as I have also backed at 5/1.
At least I got rid of the David Egan curse recently with Bucanero Fuerte.150 – Champagne Prince (Mount Atlas)
225 – Trawlerman (Al Nayyir)
300 – Lifeplan (Rock On Thunder)
335 – Arizona Blaze NAP (Lady Iman)
410 – Wonder Star (Blessed Star)
445 – Inishbeg (Naval Light)
520 – Fearnot + Dividend (Big Leader)Didn’t fancy much but the guesses were horrible.
150 – Royal Fixation (America Queen)
225 – Anthelia + Tadej (Ardisia)
300 – Bullet Point (Remmooz)
335 – Minnie Hauk (Qilin Queen)
410 – Alice Monet (Rainbows Edge)
445 – Special Dividend (Stellar Sunrise)
520 – Dance In The Storm NAP (Bonus Time)150 – Brazen Bolt (Jordan Electrics)
225 – Rochfortbridge (Italy)
300 – Lambourn (Carmers)
335 – Delacroix (Ombudsman)
410 – Terrorize (Santorini Star)
445 – Galaxy Zoo + Novamay (Fluorescence)
520 – Utmost Respect NAP (Dublin Bay)Another small stakes race. Terrorize travelled well when winning over c&d last time, this is clearly a big step up in class but many here have questions to answer and this one progressive at the trip as a 4 year old.
Terrorize 12/1
Italy has the group 2 form and as Darren says Distant Storm has had his win boosted. I’ll play it small and have a punt on Rochforthbridge for Adrian Keatley.
Beat a more experienced and subsequent listed winner on debut which is an eyebrow rising piece of form. Certainly wouldn’t be the price it is right now if it were trained by the other two.Rochforthbridge 16/1
Absolutely buzzing for York. Thanks in advance.
I’ll take the Japanians to take home the prize with ASCOLI PICENO, a group 1 winner in her own sex. Straight track and drying ground hoping to suit. Better from the Lion last time but I’m not convinced, especially at the price.
Plenty in here with gaping holes. Lemaire to produce the mare and not have a ‘mare.Difficult race, I’ll take a punt on Mister Sox at 9/1 who has 2 c&d wins from 2 c&d runs. If Qirat can do it

I’ll take a chance on Witness Stand to overcome the penalty as he has the Newb form. More Thunder progressive but price is mud and bare form of last win is wishy washy. Close to backing Great Generation but just cant quite do it.
9/2

225 – Getreadytorumble NAP
300 – Jumby
335 – Witness StandRes:
Newb 520 – Fort George
Ripon 245 – Novello Lad
Ripon 320 – Mister Soxwell that was….interesting
Lazzat was very impressive at Ascot, this trip suits him even more. Trainer not in the best of form, not sure it really matters when it comes to this one.
Rayevka put in a great effort at Ascot too and she split two subsequent group race winners that day so has to be a play too.
I like Woodshauna and that extra 110 yards will bring her into it late but I felt too late as needs the whole 7f.Lazzat 19/20 Rayevka 13/2
