The English are crap drunks, especially the young English.
Hideous, violent, foul.
Edited.
Arguing about this is pointless and I’ve better things to do.
Oh, yes, the old "racing is fixed" argument to disguise a misjudged bet.
I can’t be arsed dignifying this thread with anything other than an "I agree with Cormack" comment.
Of more concern than some overrated import should be AOB’s current strike rate in Ireland. Wild Wind has just become his 39th consecutive loser.
43 now but should get a winner at DownRoyal today.
Every second of the racing action at Royal Ascot is pure joy for me.
Each to their own I guess but the quality throuhout the 5 days is staggeringly outstanding imho.
I hate the term mug punter.
Snobbish in the extreme.
Its no business of anyone what and how other people bet.

Its all about opinions but Matt Chapman and Gina Brice are the only redeeming features of ATR.
God knows why they employ the likes of Luke Harvey, Richard Pitman, Gordon Brown, Zoe Bird, Simon Mapletoft, Tony Ennis, Richard Perham and Jason Weaver. Excruciating.
ATR’s coverage is absolutely atrocious. Yes, we are lucky to have it but it still doesn’t change the fact that it is awful.
RUK are excellent.
Aside from the execrable sycophancy to all things Royal, the BBC’s coverage has been very good.
I support the tarriff boycott 1 million %.
No owners, no racing.
The racecourses rip customers off for a product supplied by the people they give measly prize money to. To say "owners know the score before they get into the game", etc, etc, so should put up with crap prize money is a scandalous argument.
The bookmakers too should pay more.
P.S. I am not an owner.

Emily Jones was even sniffing just then.
He’s gone to that great forum in the sky Rob!
I did wonder where the Tom Queally thread had gone.
I abhor the honours system as much as any man but this isn’t the thread (or forum) for that. The fact of the matter is you are either pleased for H Cecil or you aren’t.
And, despite my loathing of said system, if Sir Henry is happy with this honour then I’m happy for him.
He’s achieved a great deal and I’m glad its been acknowledged.
I don’t know about overweight jockeys but one thing is for sure, they can’t buy a winner domestically at present.
Another odds on shot has just bitten the dust.
P.S. Unbelievable that even a thread such as this should attract arguments and sniping.
Not a supporter of the honours system myself but if it means something to Henry Cecil then I’m delighted for him. No-one in our sport deserves it more.
A truly great trainer, an interesting personality and a gentleman.
Well it’s pretty clear that it is somebody else’s fault.
It’s the bloke at Huntingdon that keeps selecting his horses to provide samples for testing!
AP
He’s certainly pushing his luck with the authorities. Suspect his defence will be it is someone elses fault.
