Unfortunately KJC has picked up an injury setback at home and will miss the National.
Ran well on his comeback yesterday, running on nicely.
He will be carrying 1lb lower than in last years National, looks a very lively bet at around 25/1 for the big one.
But each to his own.
Couldnt agree more!
Hi Ginger
So i guess you will boycott all the big bookies on Grand National Day when they offer odds on how many horses will fall?
A quite remarkable dividend!!
Even the Quadpot paid over £80.
Back, yes, but in "action" is a bit of a moot point. Even allowing for the sharpness of the trip for him, that was not a performance from which to derive an awful lot of positives.
Do you know what i thought just the same after seeing New Little Bric`s hopeless effort in the Racing Post Chase at Kempton last weekend…Then he bolts up at Newbury a week later…

You just never know in racing!!
Back in action today….

This was a desperate bit of bad luck.
Joe Lively had been in the form of his life and im sure he would of ran a huge race in the Gold Cup..He`s only a tiny horse but a real pocket battleship!
For me his victory at Cheltenham recently when giving Halcon Genelardais 6lbs (Now he`s one of the toughest stayers out there) was the highlight of the season so far.
Seriously though, I hope the horse is in one peice, chasers are like panes of glass these days…
The good news is that horse is sound and in full work..
Look out for him soon…
