    Last years gallant Grand National runner up makes his return from injury over hurdles at Naas on Sunday…Fingers crossed everything goes well,then next stop will be Aintree.

    Ran well on his comeback yesterday,running on nicely.

    He will be carrying 1lb lower than in last years National,looks a very lively bet at around 25/1 for the big one.

    King Johns Castle is undoubtedly talented but he is a desperately difficult horse to win with. I remember watching him at Clonmel last year before the National and he cruised into the race but he was worried out of it by Kerryhead Windfarm after the last. I wouldn’t have a lot of confidence in him battling it out on that long run in after the last at Liverpool.

    Unfortunately KJC has picked up an injury setback at home and will miss the National.
