Voy Por simply doesnt stay 3 miles, cross him out. Joncol may or may not stay, cant be backed at the prices, as hes still a doubtful stayer. Schindlers Hunt does stay but is thoroughly exposed, and is not good enough. In Compliance does not get 3 miles, discount. If What a Friend is able to reverse Cheltenham running with Cooldine, il give up on this sport!! The 3 remaining serious contenders are Cooldine, Aran Concerto and Notre Pere. As the ground is drying out rapidly, u would have to cross out Notre Pere. The word is that Cooldine is ready for this, and him, along with Aran Concerto do stay and still have immense potential. Cooldine to win, Aran Concerto to chase him home and improve another bundle for the run. Lay Voy Por and Joncol in running.

Dalry, I was at Leopardstown today when the Lexus was abandoned. Word at the course was that Cooldine was going to be very hard to beat. Personally, I think Aran Concerto can get in the money, as he needed that last run to put him right. Ground is drying out all the time, so avoid Notre Pere like the plague!!!

Great to see Dream Alliance back to his best. Hobbs hasnt had the best of things in recent times, and Tom O’Brien is a brilliant jockey. Apart from the last, he jumped for fun. Interesting to see what weight he gets for Aintree, presuming hes entered.

Just after reading all the recent posts on the Champion Hurdle debate, Im still in shock!! How on earth can anyone say that Go Native wont win, as he doesn’t get up the Cheltenham hill??? Now Henderson and J.P. reckon Cheltenhams stiffer test will suit Binocular??? Does Captain Cee Bee or Punjabi and Celestial Halo ring a bell??!!! This is a fact: Thats how good Binocular is, no better. Also, Go Native HAS proven he gets up that hill at Cheltenham. Although I think Zaynar is a marvellous horse, and one I like immensely, I just think he may be more of a stayer, and lack the devestating turn of foot that Go Native has. That said, at this point, hes the main threat. Kyber Kim is improving at a rate of knots, and cant be dismissed lightly.

Towerto, a certain couple of horses called Istabraq and Hardy Eustace were considered ‘too slow’ to win Champion Hurdles, remember? A real good stayer always goes well at Cheltenham, Zaynar is not out of it by any stretch of the imagination. Binocular, on the other hand, looks really out of sorts, or possibly, just not good enough.

Fist, what happened to ur prediction?? Did Go Native quit, as u predicted, or was it the mule-ish Binocular who wouldnt put it all in?? At Cheltenham, the pace will be even quicker, which will suit Go Native more than any horse in the race. Like I predicted last week, Go Native WILL win the Champion, hes the best horse in the race. Watch out for a Paul Carberry special, reminiscent of Harchibald. Difference being that Go Native WILL go past.

Dunk, just what is Binoculars ‘true form’? Is it possible hes just been way over-hyped, without ever actually showing why on the race-track? Thats what I think. Go Native will win, with Zaynar, Solwhit and Hurricane Fly (if hes fit) as the main dangers. If connections can get Hurricane Fly back to his best, he is the horse to beat, but thats a big if…

What does Go Native have to do to be taken seriously?? Yes, the mare, VLV beat him, but he was only 50% wound up then, Id readily dismiss that form. Also, mares just DONT win Champion Hurdles. Someone said that Go Native wont find enough off the bridle at a stiff track like Cheltenham?!! Hmmmm, just where was the Supreme Novices run at then??? Go Native and Denman are the 2 bankers for Cheltenham. Binocular hasnt even earned another crack at the Champion this season, I think its back to the drawing-board for connections.

Go Native will win whatever the ground. People said the lack of pace was against Binocular at Newcastle….The quicker they go, the BETTER Go Native will be.
