Thats exactly why you cant back fillies, also never back if a trainer has a few runners in a race unless its the pacemaker of course! Rules of betting

Balls.
Value is everything.
Value Is EverythingAugust 18, 2016 at 17:29 #1260320Aiden virtually told us the result yday. Seventh heaven looks a typical improving aiden filly and will be a force in fillies group ones for the rest of the season. Good run by found with the weight and her not looking fully wound up. I would give her one more run then go for the breeders cup turf. Third ran well too but not as good as the front two. They pulled well clear of the rest so form looks solid.
August 18, 2016 at 17:35 #1260322Third must have traded quite short late
August 18, 2016 at 18:01 #1260323Not a good race for me today. But what a horse Found is
Placed now in 10 Group 1’s in her career from 8F to 12F on all types of ground.
Comments from the trainer
“The plan with her was to go to the Curragh for the Royal Whip on Sunday, but we came here as we have US Army Ranger for that, and then go to Leopardstown for the Irish Champion Stakes and then go to the Arc so nothing might change from that.”
Some great races ahead this Autumn
August 18, 2016 at 19:39 #1260333Indeed the first two could end up in the arc and if they get clear runs could well be in the frame. Hopefully found heads to the the breeders cup turf again.

With hindsight,he did yes.
I cannot be alone in not believing a word that comes out of his mouth though.
August 18, 2016 at 22:09 #1260354Wow, if you think the first two would have a say in the Arc, then surely you think Minding will win doing cartwheels? Presumably she leaves Seventh Heaven reeling on the gallops.
I think this could well be the high point for Seventh Heaven, unless perhaps the Fillies and Mares G1 on Champions Day comes out as a winnable renewal. I don’t think she has the star quality to stay in training at four, unless she finds some major improvement.
For all I was happy to see her lose for my lay, I think Found ran a barnstorming race. She’s every bit as tough and versatile as her dam Red Evie. She travelled as well as any, perhaps excluding Queen’s Trust. She found quite a bit under pressure too – a mighty run for a filly presumably a little short of peak fitness conceding so much weight to a pretty decent younger filly. Postponed hardly needs endorsements after the Juddmonte International, but Found certainly paid him a compliment here. She was made to look very ordinary in the Coronation Cup after all.
As Joey said, Queen’s Trust looked the most likely winner for a while. I don’t know what the answer is with her. She sees out 1m 2f so strongly that she must stay 1m 4f, but it was a very tame finishing effort.
I wonder if Jim Bolger will finally accept defeat with Turret Rocks. Having had so many chances at the top level, she’s clearly not a G1 filly.
August 18, 2016 at 22:18 #1260355To my eyes Queens trust didn’t stay !! Cruised up to the leaders then faded tamely in the final furlong.
Needs a strong run one mile two for me!!

I disagree with all of that.
Queen’s Trust is a 1m2f to 1m4f filly..
Seventh Heaven is a 1m4f filly who’d be equally effective over 1m6f+.
Found is a 1m2f to 1m4f filly known to find a lot off the bridle…So I’d expect Queen’s Trust to be travelling a lot better than the AOB pair two and a half out.
Considering who the front pair are and – as you’d expect from what it looked two and a half out – the fact she came clear of the others… To say QT’s finishing effort was “very tame” and that she didn’t stay, is well wide of the mark imo. Just beaten by a couple of better fillies.Value Is EverythingAugust 19, 2016 at 18:08 #1260484I said I think she does stay 1m 4f GT, that’s why I found her finishing effort a little surprising.
Even with the profiles of the first and second, I think Queen’s Trust failed to find very much. Can see your point though – I’m nitpicking on a very good run.
August 19, 2016 at 20:01 #1260503The first three are top class fillies and it was a cracking run by queens trust, probably her best performance and looks like still improving. Don’t think she will beat either of the ballydoyle fillies but surely will pick up a group two somewhere.
August 19, 2016 at 21:32 #1260513QT might technically have stayed the trip but it looked as though she’d be better suited to shorter
